  1. you need the hoses and the pcvs, the best source is mike feeney in our traders section, I would be surprised if they cost you more than fifty notes!
  2. The pcv valve is part of the breather system, they are meant to be replaced at regular service intervals, they are a small valve that can get blocked/clogged up and will cause the car to burn oil if not replaced!
  3. I don't think the problem is the stem seals, stem seals hardly ever go on the engine! But the PCV valves are a common problem and a lot cheaper than new stem seals!!
  4. Hello Mate, Yes fitted them myself, bought them for 450 off the GTR forum, got some SS brake lines from SPL parts, had the pads included as well Woohoo!! I think £ for £ has to be one of the best mods you can do on the Zed!
  5. Let me guess where you been looking LOL!! Ferodo DS2000 to be exact!!
  6. The car actually stops now :D :D :D They are fantastic!!!!
  7. Hi, I have heard that uprated anti roll bars makes the Zed handle great, but in general, they give you better cornering but you lose the feeling of when the car is going to lose it!
  8. I think Castrol RS 10-60 is too heavy an oil for the zed, I prefer the Mobil1 15-50 as this is closer to the OEM spec that Nissan specified!
  9. Get the bigger TB's you know it makes sense ;)
  10. No it ain't a US thing, the UK/Jap import models have this problem as well! Dunno why maybe just a flaw in manufacturing/final adjustment? Had to adjust mine.
  11. Well done mate, full marks for stepping over the line! I am itching to see what it is gonna give us, it is almost like the project car for all the forum!!
  12. To be truthful he doesn't mind travelling all over the south east, he has got a workshop or he will come to you, he loves Zeds and loves working on what he considers a worthwhile car! If he can help me sort out my TT conversion then there is nothing that he really can't do on a zed!
  13. I don't think it is the same oil for the diff as the redline MT90, redline do a seperate diff oil for limited slips with viscous couplings! Personally I would consider using the orginal Nissan oil as the viscous diff depends on a specific oil for it to work correctly and the diffs are fairly bomb proof anyway!
  14. No he doesn't mind his number being posted, 07979 375230, I agree a very nice chap and does an excellent job!
  15. :D No mate british supplier, denso plugs!
  16. Yeah I took my irridiums out of my 200, they were causing detonation
  17. The 6B is only sold as far as I know in the US, when I spoke to NGK they said it was not available in the UK, so that is probably why they are pushing the 6C! By the way Cosmik 6B is the plug NGK produced when they were asked to by Nissan to make a plug for a Zed with uprated boost!
  18. Rob I think they go for the simliar length copper plug, which is available in a 7 heat range, but they report no probs with the 6B-11B! The 6b's are still available, http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=22401-000026 I would get them from Coz at CZP, he has cheaper shipping charges and he has greater knowledge of the Zed !
  19. The theory is that the chamber is more turbulent because of the turbos forcing more air into the cylinders! The plug needs to be longer, so that the burn can start in a more central place in the chamber, allowing a correct burn!
  20. A lot of the guys in the US use the 6B-11b up to and above 500bhp with no probs!
  21. Is there?????????
