  1. I wonder then, even tax exempt cars should be hit if we are all going to be hit, the goverment dont care about the enviroment, all they are interested in is money.
  2. Just bought myself a 1994 astra merit 1.4 to run around in till the zed comes out of the garage. What a beast lol, aint quite the same driving a faded red astra with no power steering and 13" rims with grooved wheel trims around, I have had quite a few idiots wanting to race with their polo gti's etc, I can see them looking in their rear view mirror taking the mic and pulling away with ease, it's so frustrating because if id had the zed, they wouldnt even think about racing. I'm used to people looking as I cruise down the street, no one gives you a second glance at all when your in a shed, the only good point is that I could get used to the fuel economy as its amazing, cant remember the last time I had an economical car, just want my car back, *****cks to the mpg lol.
  3. Always wanted one since it was on top gear on pendine beach, one hell of a car for the money, and practicle.
  4. Have a look on the inside of one of the rear light inner covers, it should tell you there.
  5. My misus convinced me to get rid of my last zed, saying that it was a pethetic car to have as it cost to much and I loved it more than her, at last the passion I had for the zed won, hence I have another, shes the one that convinced me to spend the money on another modified engine for it, shes changed, big time, for the better that is. lol, she will never win over the zed, I bet I have spent less on the car than she has on fags, clothes, make up etc.
  6. It will be around the 500bhp, is it worth thinking about?
  7. Is their much differance between duel and the single charger?
  8. Nothing yet apart from induction kit, koyo rad and electric fan, I'm thinking z1 smic and dual pop charger next.
  9. At last the zed has gone in to Chris at Z Tech, as soon as I pulled up, he said that it was the turbo seal, I kind of guessed that as I choked a few bikers that were behind me with my oily smoke lol. Exited and gutted at the same time as he will have it for a while and I will have no car, but on the other hand it will be having the forged pistons, 555 injectors, jwt530bb turbos, lightened flywheel, rps clutch, lightened pullys, full service, cam belt etc, gaskets, new pipes, so it should be worth the wait, Chris seems like a really nice guy who is genuine and enthusiastic about these cars, I will keep you all posted on how it all goes, cant wait.
  10. http://www.godspeedproject.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=10 Why are these so cheap? Pitty they aint that cheap for the z, lol
  11. Glad your ok mate, good job it wasn't the z.
  12. These cars are just great arn't they, get bourd of the power, then just mod them agan instead of buying a new car.
  13. How would it compare to a modern 500bhp supercar eg lambo
  14. I will do a search in the morning, I will probably order some as they look great value for money,
  15. Just thinking, what performance figure difference's are there between stock and 500bhp z, for example, 0-60, mid range, top speed, is it a huge amount of difference?
  16. I know people say these are not that good, but when funds are tight and your about to have a bigger hp engine put in, they do become more of an attractive buy, the engine that is going in will be pushing over 450bhp, will these intercoolers be ok as I cant afford the top notch ones, the car will hardly ever be pushed hard, which one would you people go for? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CXRacing-FMIC-Intercooler-kit-Bolt-on-90-96-300zx-Z32_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ011QQitemZ320267283816QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/godspeed-90-96-300zx-z32-turbo-s-mount-intercooler-kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ021QQitemZ310063437953QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  17. Nice one mate, only seeing what people thought, your always going to get the negatives with the possitives, I trust you and chris 100%, I cant wait to get that engine into my car lol
  18. I thought it was quite a good deal considering the engine will be warranted.
  19. This post was started by Bazz not so long ago. Forged Engine and parts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have decided to sell my engine once it has been rebuilt or if i can get enough for the parts i may split it up. All the parts below have only covered less than 1000 miles. Parts Wiseco forged pistons JWT 530 BB Turbos and pipes Nismo 555cc injectors RPS Max Sport Clutch Fidanza Flywheel Full Unorthodox Racing pulley kit At present the engine is at Ztech ready to be rebuilt properly by Chris. It has low compression at present on cylinders 5 and 6 which may be suspected cracked rings. Once it is done it will be ready to drop straight into somebodys car. I have pictures of the engine with the above parts fitted that i can email. I am open to serious offers either for the whole engine with everything attached or if i can sell all bolt on parts individually i may remove them and sell them separately. __________________ Blue 1993TT Mongoose System, Brembo R33 brakes,Veilside Skirts, , BAZZ View Public Profile Send a private message to BAZZ Find More Posts by BAZZ 28th April 2008, 20:18 #2 Ossian Subscribed Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Feedback Score: 1 Location: Falkirk, Scotland Posts: 1,121 that engine should be going in the strosek car....... The bolt on parts cost new, roughly, Pistons £440 555's £545 RPS Clutch £425 Pulley Kit £290 JWT 530 BB Turbos and pipes £2000 Fidanza Flywheel £300 Obviously that was without fitting and labour charges. I am open to serious offers. __________________ Blue 1993TT Mongoose System, Brembo R33 brakes,Veilside Skirts, , BAZZ View Public Profile Send a private message to BAZZ Find More Posts by BAZZ 28th April 2008, 20:58 #6 Legrath I see zed people Join Date: Aug 2004 Feedback Score: 3 Location: Somerset Posts: 12,249 I think you'll be better of selling the parts separately, your not likely to make back your money on the Ztech rebuild bill by selling complete afterwards. __________________ SWB Slicktop TT Manual - Project : Rolling shell to Fast-road/Track car Status - Nearly there ! The engine build is being done by Chris as he is a top bloke who is honouring the warranty that Ryan (the old owner of Ztech) should have provided. I spent a LOT of money to build this engine that i wont get back. This is giving someone the opportunity to have a quality engine with a good spec, ready to swap over without any hassle of waiting on their engine to be rebuilt and they would also have their engine to sell on. Silverbullet, you will have first dibs on the pistons if i break the engine up. __________________ Blue 1993TT Mongoose System, Brembo R33 brakes,Veilside Skirts, ,
  20. Whatever problems it's had, Chris will be sorting it.
  21. That is correct, but the engine is not having a total rebuild, the engine wasnt running right, something to do with the traction controle that was fitted, Chris will be making sure that the engine is 100% before I take it away.
  22. Im not really sure the full story of the engine, but it's Bazz's engine, he is a member on here.
  23. Bottom end rebuilt a year ago, not going to be fully rebuilt, just the heads and stuff, Chris will be making sure it is 100% before I leave with the car as he will be warranting the work carried out.
  24. Chris is charging me a grand for the labour, but he is also buying my engine for £750, so it works out £2750 for the engine and £1000 for the labour.
