  1. I wondered about this one myself and was tempted with the gamble, knowing my luck it's just a sticker and the insides are standard!!!!! I've gotta spend my hard earned else where now anyway. Ask him to take the top off and send you a picture, might help
  2. I bought a bullet cam off fleabay last week woth the intention of sticking it on the bike or in the Zed for a bit of creative filming. Thinking that it would plug in to my HDD camcorder (JVC Everio) as it has an AV socket, I was sadly mistaken as it is AV out not AV in.:headvswal I'm now looking for some other kind of portable recording device as I'm not going to go out and get another cam with the right connectivity (unless I really have to). Been looking at the Archos things but they seem really expensive and I literally only want it to have record and playback whereas these things seem to do a lot more than I need. There must be peeps on here that do similar and I was just looking for suggestions to keep costs to a minimum. Help me please!!!!!!!
  3. ...............the size of the breasticles on the lady stood to the right of Hammond during the news on top gear tonight? Slightly more than a handfull I'd say!!!!!!!
  4. I have one of those stupid irrational fears of the dentist so when i go, if I need anything more than a check up, I need to be knocked out otherwise it just ain't gonna happen. I had my two top wisdoms taken out about 3 years ago and there was more pain and suffering before than during or after. In and out in about an hour and back at work the next day. Apparently I was quite amusing when I came round from the general anasthetic (sp), didn't have a clue where I was or what I was doing!!!!!! I had sat back down in the waiting room, picked up a guys newspaper and was holding it and he asked me if he could have it back and I just kept saying "what paper, haven't seen one".
  5. Hey Athene, Hope you have a great bithday.:hyper: Sarah sends her best wishes too.
  6. We kinda got lucky with the wristbands. We arrived at about 10.30 as we were meeting friends who had come up from Portsmouth in the morning and we knew it was going to get crazy busy. As we had VIP tickets we decided to hole up in the VIP area for a while and wait for the queue of peeps to go down getting in and we were resigned to the fact that we weren't going to get in the front section, especially as we didn't go in until about 1.30. They weren't giving any more bands out when we got there but as luck would have it, one of our group knew one of the security staff at the front section and he gave us a couple of broken bands and let us in with them and we just got new ones as we left, did that a few times until all 8 of us got them.:hyper: Were all a little pink now too, not too burnt, just pink.
  7. Well, what an absolutely awesome weekend.:hyper: Lovely hotel, great weather and a good group of friends spending some well earned r & r time together. I thought the venue was fantastic and you didn't need to be in the section at the front to enjoy the show, we were on the bank to the right of the stage for a lot of the time and we had a great view. Down in the front (managed to get the green wristbands) the atmosphere was electric and generally most people were well behaved. The only downer on the weekend was waiting for Linkin Park and the bottle throwing started, I'm all up for a bit of fun but obviously some people take things too far. People were chucking things all over the place and one bottle hit a young girl just in front of me which caused her to hit the ground and start having a fit. We got the medics in to help out and they did a great job but it amazed me that there were so many people trying to push forward to get a look. There were a group of young lads that we were holding back who were intent on getting some pictures of her on the floor, it was all me and my brother could do to stop ourselves from making them eat their own cameras!!!!! In short; The Bravery - dull Enter Shikari - Not my cuppa but put on a good show and were very entertaining. N*E*R*D - Not really heard much before but found them to be very good and worked the crowd superbly. Pendulum - whipped the crowd into a frenzy. Not as good as I had hoped they would be but my other half loved them. Jay-Z - Fantastic!!!! Could've left out the political stuff as I don't think it was very relevant over here but there you go. Linkin Park - Phenominal as ever. Perfect set, mixture from all albums and to bring Jay-Z back out at the end was pure genius as we all thought that they weren't going to do it. Gezzmarelda, we stayed up there for the weekend and I didn't take my laptop with me (thought I could survive for a couple of days) otherwise I would have been up for meeting for a pint.
  8. Getting ready to rock!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pendulum is going to be awesome, me and my girlfriend are looking forward to them almost as much as LP. Going up today and we've got a hotel for the weekend so it's going to be a good break for us, especially as I've got to work this morning.:(
  9. I'm on the countdown to Projekt Revolution this Sunday!!!!! Going to be seeing Linkin Park, Jay-Z, N*E*R*D, Enter Shikari, The Bravery, Pendulum and probably a few more. Decided to go VIP in the end so it's cost me £80 a ticket and for that money it had better be good, although I know LP won't let me down. Just wondered if anyone else was going as it's going to be a big event.
  10. Me and a couple of mates have been talking about taking the bikes over this for a little while now, proper boys road trip.
  11. Saw you cruising along the A27 between Eastern road and A3 at about 5 ish this evening. Looking good with the T tops off, I was on the bike that pulled up next to you and then buggered off.:D
  12. Hook it up with a tow rope and drag it far enough out of the way, as long as you don't damage the other car you will be in the clear.
  13. Well done to Scott Redding for winning the British 125cc GP today from Donnington in only his 8th race and at the ripe old age of 15. One to watch in the future I reckon, what happened to Bradley Smith?!?!!?!?!?!?!?
  14. Are you thinking of these trims? http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=4_33_61&products_id=927
  15. Not completely sure of the colour, a dark bluey/purpley/black?!?!?!?!?! Reg ****EMO, alloys, tints. I was in the red Zed that drove past you and waved.
  16. Just paid up for another year, paypal from A Hawkes.:)
  17. Cheers guys. I'm at work so not doing anything exciting at the mo, but on the plus side my suspension has just arrived.:hyper: Nothing exciting tonight as the other half jas got to go to work, BBQ tomorrow with family and friends and maybe a couple of :duffer: but not too many as I tend to fall over quite quickly.:)
  18. I have a peanut allergy so would end up being ill every time I got in the Zed:rofl:, what other options are there? (Sorry for the hijack)
  19. It turns out that the water pump is shot so hopefully I will be able to get my hands on another tomorrow. At least I'm getting some experience with stripping down the front of the engine!!!!!!!! I didn't change the 2 pipes as they looked OK to me and they weren't leaking when I rebuilt it the 1st time, should they be changed then as they haven't been disturbed this time?
  20.:headvswal: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Took it out last night and now it's p!ssing out water again, even worse than before I started, I HATE MY ZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Finished mine yesterday and it's all running sweet. My power steering pump was a bit of a bitch too but with a bit of persistance and persuasion I managed to slacken it a bit and in the end i just took the pully off the end. You'll need a 27mm socket for the crank pulley and something quite meaty to crack it off and a puller to remove it. I think book time on changing a water pump is 3 hours, took me about 12 all up, I'm not changing my career just yet!!!!!!
  22. I've had a water leak at the front of the engine for a dew weeks which has now got to the point where it needs sorting. I think that it is the water pump gasket/seal as you can see from the picture below how far I've got and there is still a drip from the bottom of the engine which gets quicker when I turn the end of the pump. My question is this, is this a job that should be left to a pro or can i do it on my drive? What tools and how much longer will it take to be at the point where the water pump is off? I don't think the pump itself is knackered as it's only about 3 years old but then any part can fail at any age!!!!!!
  23. I've seen this one around Fareham a few times but I've no idea who it is, not on here though.
