red zed in main road gidea park yesterday about 4pm with aftermarket nose cone and 6 pot venoms travelling towards gallows corner :)

i bought an easy up 10' round by 2' feet deep pool a couple of weeks ago from b and q and on the box it said it held 3200 litres of water. they also sell the sachets of anti algae liquid that you add to the water and lasts for 2 weeks . three sachets are enough for 3600 litres of water. they are about £2.something each. we found it took about 6 hours roughly to fill to the inflated ring. tip; dont blow the ring up too much to start with (about 85%) and make sure the ring stays inside the pool whilst inflating it . h.t.h

Anybody Have An Idea What Sort Of Money I Might Get For Breaking My Zed ? Its A 1990 Tt Jap , Standard Apart From Venom Rear Lights And Decat Exhaust. Approx 68000 Miles On The Clock. Bad Points Are Probable Tub Seals Gone As Smoking On T/over, Crack In Front Valence, Tailgate Needs Respray. Just Gauging Before I Go Ahead As There's Been No Interest In Anyone Buying :(

thanks for the info, the thing is the car still goes well when i put my foot down and it doesn't seem to smoke. it only smokes on tickover at lights etc. then you are unlucky if you are behind me in a convertible!!

a little while after having the car de-catted it started to smoke,which i am told could be the pcv valves or the seals on the turbos. the question is , if i have something put back ie; cherry's, or some other inline boxes, will it stop the smoking or is it too late now?

i have recently bought this plate from dvla for £250 all in . it's not for the zed but should look good on my new car when i get it. T17 FDX (M FOX) ;)

i've owned 2 yank motors before including a 1955 cadillac which had electric windows all round, 6 way electric seat, power steering, autronic eye (automatic headlight dimming) radio! ,heater etc etc. what did we have over here? ford poplar,vauxhall wyvern, not exactly ground breaking motoring. The japs followed the yanks in putting every extra into their cars as standard . whether it be muscle car or behemoth barge , the yanks set the standard. i for one love the car and if it does go into production i hope i will be lucky enough to buy one in the future.

i found that after fitting my delimiter both the speedo and odo. wouldn't work so i took it out and both started working again. it has been sent back for testing and am waiting on the result
