How free-flowing are the Zs airbox inlet tracts and the airbox itself

I am quite happy in not fitting a cone filter to my Z, but more considering fitting a better panel filter. Just wondering if anyone's running a freer flow panel filter with raised boost.

Thanks

Hi Si,

...................As you know, I can get both cone and panel A'PEXi filters. The cone filter costs £62.50 plus p+p and I need to check on the panel cost as I don't get asked for these very often.

Regards,

Dan

£62.50 - wow!

You cannot go wrong with that Si - replace your air box with one of those!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

as already said (only just seen post) 100% it's 2 panels on the z -changed mine not long ago and where black !(and yes ive heard the standard boxes can be a bit restrictive)

so 4 the price i plan to upgrade to an apexi induction kit asap!

k&N panal filters are oiled at the factory so no need to worry about contamination.

Ive used k&n filters in the past and as far as they go they're great, but the cone filter such as the apexi is far superior on the zed because of its stock placement. (not much heat soak)

ps. i use a blitz and its fine!
