my car has been lowered, however, i think it could go down half an inch.

my wheels are 9J, and i have 225/45/17 tires.

dont want to get the arches rolled, as the wheels will not be wide enough to come to the edge of the arch then.

can i just cut the inside of the arch away? as the arch folds in by about 1 inch.

dont want my tires to hit the inside of the arch

Cutting the folded lip away would be a mistake, this is what gives the arch it's strength. You can do a very slight roll which will only pull the arch out by a fraction and will roll the lip flat against the inside of the arch. I have 19 x 10.5's wheels on mine with 275/40's and they clear just fine with this method.

dont know the offset sorry.

ok, il just lower the car so its a few mm clearence from the arch lip.

thanks for the advice! was going to get the angle grinder out on the weekend :D

Well, you'll need to find the offset to see if they'll fit and/or how much the arch will need tugging.

My rears are level with the arch itself.

they come flush to the arch id say, but il take a pic for you all to see what i mean tomorrow

They should unless they're custom or have been modified. Usually stamped on the inner or outter hub faces or on the inner rim lip.

Did i hear someone say Offset? Mmmmwahahaha
