anyone got this months banzai.. there is a really nice 180sx in it .. something i have been trying to get my head round tho is they have a similiar shape to the 300zx .. looking side on .. and the rear spoiler on it looks really good in my oppinion, but any of the spoilers like this that i have seen on z's look pap.. cant really figure it out.. only thing i can think of is that cos the z is bigger the spoiler looks silly :S

yeah ... but you have got to admit the angle at which they come down is similiar.. or maybee its just me .. either way .. still dont understand why those aftermarket spoilers dont suit the zed!

Looks more similar to the roofline of a Metro than a Z. ;)

 

As for the a/m spoilers, some are hit/miss with the Z. It has such a smooth sleek shape, that aggressive spoilers just don't really match it, like they do with something like a Skyline. Same with a lot of bodykits IMHO.

yeah i guess your right :) .. im toying with the idea of sticking a r33 spoiler on mine tho.. think they look really good!.. anyone had any experience of taking the Z badge off the nose cone? is it pretty simple task? just asking as im thinking of going for a black nosecone, bonnet and between targas.. and have a week booked off soon.. wanna be prepared!!

I have seen an R33 Spoiler on a Z and TBH, it actually looks pretty good.

 

As for the nose cone, if you have a JDM car, then the Z badge is just stuck on. There are 2 small holes in it that need filling. If you have a UK car, then the hamburger sign comes out, but you're left with a recess.

dont think large spoilers suit a Z.

i actually like allot of the old nissans but always favoured the z for shape and power

 

 

but agreed alot of spoilers dont look good on a Z out of all the one's iv'e seen i can only say i like about 2 or 3 and there's a fair few floating around on the web, (like this one) :wack:

That's the R34 spoiler. Need to find photos of one with an R33 spoiler on it. I'll ask on 3ZC as it was there that I saw it.

i love the stock style but av got the foam original so that's just gotta go ! wouldnt mind the replacement version , but certain styles would look good and not too outrageous with the wheels etc iv'e got planned

 

but it's just the hastle of filling and repainting tailgate etc on an aftermarket

Definetly gonna do wheels as next big mod, (doing Servicing at the min), then spolier so at least i'll be able to see how the stock spoiler matches

For me it would probably be down to - Spoilerless, 99spec, Kaminari or R34 wing.
