Hey all,

I thought I'd start one of these threads as there has not been one for a while!!;)

I have driven my ZX virtually every day for the last 9 days and it is running superbly. It sounds great, drives as it should, pulls like a train on demand and the auto 'box operates smootly and responsively. (Plus owing to the weather it's also still clean...........) Perfect!!!:D

Come on, let's hear a few more happy ZX stories rather than problems etc.............:p

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I love driving mine is it is only a short journey! Normally go out for night drives its alot of fun :D

That's the good weather for you! Mine's out of MOT, ran out last week!! Grrrrrrrrrrr! Didn't have time to get it done before I went away. So not driving it at the moment. MOT is on Saturday, should pass. So drive-time again. Will make the most of this Indian Summer!

Other than my HICAS fault, mine's been absolutely fantastic though, been running like a gem. So happy with new suspension too. I think I'll do an oil change on it this weekend. :)

fookin sick of mine, the brakes are pulling to the left (fooked caliper), the tracking is all over the place, it jumps about and trys to stall due to electrical engine prob, my window washers have stopped working again, my targas have started leaking badly

gonna get it sortd and stick it on fleabay and get what i can for it, im absoluty at wit's end with my car

cant wait for a nice audi S4

Been driving mine daily for the last 12months+ mot next month will fail as there is a slight crack near my 12month old rose mounted tention rods (probally a bit firmer than stock, lol) thats all that I know.

Only off the road as insurance ran out yesterday, tax is also out end of the month. Just had to spend £250 on my vans mot and tax (2nd car not used for work hardly driven about 800 miles last year) and with a redundancy letter from work last week could'nt justify the zed to be used for the foreseable future although I have had my insurance give me a quote for the next 30 days :)

Boost is limited by the ECU on warmup, not sure what to, but it is limited on cold startup.

Yeah i know. but it will stay in safe mode untill i turn it off again. Then it will be fine all day?????

WOW a zed is driving properly thats a first!!!!!

No. People just only post up when they have a problem. Plenty on here that seemingly never have issues.

Nice. I do like that Navan spoiler. Certainly better looking than their gearknobs!

your not wrong there gear knob is the pits, same with the stearing wheel, would like to replace them both, but yet to see a nice auto gear stick.

Stock one's probably about the best you'll find. All the rest look like they were designed for a 1980s Atari /Commadore Joystick manufacturer. lol

You're weird.

Not that weird...I think what he's trying to say that you can sometimes be a little too pedantic with some long time members which brings out their sarcasm!:p

Depends what you want to do to the interior I guess. There's a good site out in Japan that I've bought stuff from a few times. As you've noticed, I've yet to see nice aftermarket auto shifter.

;)

But ive done more work on my zed than some members have in 5 years ;)

Hehe. True. :)

Sure looks good in the pictures. Just glad you saw the light and didn't go with your 'looks like underseal' 2-tone paint idea. Looks spot on now. :D
