LOL I just looked at how much he paid but thinking about it the Z was 34k back in 89 so 50k now I would say was less back then.

This week on the way to work a E39(97-03 shape) M5 V8 400bhp had ago at me and i did that and i've got 230bhp less than you.

you could probably go to 60 and back to 0 before he hits 60 :rolleyes:

You could always both come down and run at the Pod on the 18th May then the group of Z owners taking part in the Drag Race Challenge would be there to cheer you on

either way iain... park them both next to each other anywhere and see who gets the most looks!

Steve my Z is almost there Its been a long hard road getting it all together but we are 95% complete I just need the gearbox sorting and a pair of rear wheels. I have every intention of putting this car on the map once she is 100% ready for action.

The new M3 is a pretty quick car though and I'd say it would take a stock 300zx without too much trouble......

my mate had one, used to be close in my car but used to have him on the straights, esp when his 155mph limit kicked in & went pissing past him :D so should have no chance against yours!! LOL!

they do handle well & would pull from me away leaving roundabouts
