After my last thread about wheels, ive whittiled down to these 3 wheels

 

Volk TE37 In Bronze

 

Work Emotion CR in Bronze

 

or finally

 

Nismo LM GT4 yet again in bronze.

 

Ive photoshopped them VERY quickly onto my car. Something i cant do on PS is the profile of the spokes change with these wheels depending on the width of the wheel, to show they are infact deeper than the front, but you get the idea

Top choices, good to see somebody shopping for quality lightweight performance wheels!

 

The TE37 is on my list of choces, but they need to be in the wider size with the right offset to look best. Im also considering CE28n, Work XD9 and a couple of other Rays/Volk wheels.

 

Get them photoshopped on your car so we judge better :)

Nick if everyone picked the ones you liked the least would that make you buy them?

thw first and last are a little too SX like for me.they would look good on a skyline/SX but i think are a little too harsh for the lines of the zed, therefore i have chosen number 2

te 37 with the correct offset would look nice

Its not a case of which i like the least. I like them all the same, thats my problem.:headvswal

 

Some contructive criticism of each wheel and why they do and dont suit the zed will help me make the decision. At the moment im looking at all three with glazed eyes and drooling!:hyper:

 

Alot of the point some people raise on this forum do actually make a difference to my thoughts on things, hence the poll. :rolleyes:

I'd go for the work rims. As much as I don't like the multi-stud look they have, I prefer them.

 

But I'd rather have these as far as bronze rims go. I'd go with the Work Emotion XD9.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have some pics of Z32's with the TE37's and the LM GT4's that I will post up when I get home 2nite.

I got a pic of the TE37s somewhere on a green zed, but they havnt got the reverse rim feature like the ones in the pic i attached. They look miles better

Well Co-Ord Sport are the UK distributer of Rays wheels, and i had a chat with them at the pistonheads show. But im going to make a few enquiries in the US and see what the price difference is inc tax and shipping

Oh and im going for 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5. I dont think i can get 10.5 rear to fit the zed unless someone knows different

 

Not decided on Offsets yet, ill have to get the tape measure out and see how much clearance i will need to clear to big brake ugrade thats going on prior to the wheel purchase

I have the Volk Racing Challenge on the red car. Hollow spoke lightweight, forged for high strength.....

I have 10.5's on mine and they fit like a glove. My choice would be the Volks, they look mean on a black Zed.
