Anyways Cerbera is a damn ugly car prefer the speed 6.

A stock TT wouldn't have much of a chance against a 360hp NA engine in a 1100kg car.

Idk i seen much less do more powerful cars remember its not the car its the driver a high percentage of the time =D, nice that he gave the thumbs up tho alot of them are idiots most of the time and cut ya up and stuff.

I was never under any impression that the Trever could even come close unless is was supercharged or TT but the point I was making is just how quick I pulled away from it without exaggeration it was like comparing a MX5 with a standard Ztt

TBH i always thought a cerbera was a pretty quick machine. I was there when jezza did that drag race with the cerb, 993 turbo, vantage,viper etc and once it got going it was an absolute flying machine and pissed over the lot of them!

It's all down to torque rather than BHP and Macca's 30.5Psi TT big turbo set up - a fooking shed load! Admitted the Trevor is a lighter car but no where near as much torque... Most guys on here running 1 bar are producing nearly as much torque as some Ferrari's or Lambo's... ;)

..........a Cerbera can pull 0-100mph in around 10 seconds so very little on the road will touch it. Until it breaks down!!

ferraris havnt got that much torque compared to bhp from what i read after sitting behind a 360 modena hitting the limiter to try and lose me (got the vid on me fone to prove!) I had a play with a tvr tuscan once but he backed off when he realised I was still there, also had a good run with a carrera 4 "S" which I edged away then after I slowed down and pulled onto the slip road he flew past and cut me up, says it all really.

I heard a similar thing that in the 80s(shows his age now) the MG Maestro turbo press cars all blew up because the factory had wound the boost up to make the cars more impressive.

Well to be honest the whole TVR, Ferrari etc thing bores me to death, I have no interest in those cars. I remember loads of blokes at work that used read the stats in the back of top gear magazine and go on about what these cars can do blah blah blah even though the fastest thing they had ever owned was a 2 litre primera.

The problem is with your porker or tvr is it is just as fast as all the other porkers and tvrs out there. Now taking an old datsun or any car really and producing something that wastes those expensive status symbols is a real achievement and much more fun in my book.

Its always a hoot at the strip when people come in there new supercars and just cant understand why they cant get anywhere near the young boy in a cosworth powered Mk2 escort or anywhere near the figures quoted in the back of top gear lol
