Received my new wheel and installed it today. Think it's a perfect match for my interior and it feels sooo nice. Only problem is the small gap around the boss where it goes into the cowel. I have looked at many pics in the rides section but cant tell exactly how other people have shielded this area or if they just used a different brand of boss.

 

 

I do like that wheel. Not one I'd choose but I do like it. Nice to see that the metal bits aren't chrome. A brushed type material is nicer. :)

It is a Simoni boss and appears to be good quality. I'm a little irked because I bought the wheel and boss together from an ebay trader and expected a Momo boss. Does the Momo boss come with some sort of a collar to cover the gap?

Using a Cannon EOS 300D. I've had it for three years and it takes great pics.

i used to order them where i used to work and they always came with 1, i just wish i knew how expensive they where for the zed back then :rofl:

I like that wheel Marco.. It really suits.

I've got a hicas enabled boss on my momo wheel, and it has a large rubber/plastic shroud around it to cover that exposed part, it's just a slip on/off part, and agreed, does look much better with it.

Yes they are surpose to come with a plastic gaiter. mines got one, infact every streering wheel should have one :mac1:
