I have been digging around and apparently these where produced for a short time, does anyone have any info about them and or does someone think they could make it up, would be a good mod imo.

Thanks

Would be a nightmare to drive with that IMO. A case of Bling at the expence of function and certainly not for me.

I would be up for buying this set-up, if you can find a supplier/manufacturer.

by the way Si Jimmer has nearly finished my car hopefully Monday thanks for the recy. Much appriciated he's a top bloke

Hmm..I cant make my mind up. Its just for looks, but the problem is that its looks are'nt in keeping with the rest of the interior.

Pk1 was designing a Gated shift surround before he sold up. Might be some old threads on here from him about it.

Ferraris seem to cope quite well.

Thats because the entire shift mechanisum is designed to do what it should with the gearbox. The shifter is sprung and balanced to return to centre of the gate and has a central fulcrum and a the lower gate on the Ferrari. Preventing any forward/diaganal or rearward motion unless it is alined to the correct position.

The shift on the 355 and the 360 is smooth and slick. This has no lower gate and nothing to inhibbit constantly finding neutral and it would hit 10 on the Funky Si Modstastraphy scale.

sounds like this would be a right PITA to use

I quite badly want a sequential box, the more I research it the less likely it seems.
