sorry i should have made myself clearer... that pic was to illustrate the wheels on the silver convertable! :wack:

ok, ok, no it wasnt... im lying.. im now thinking that i am after all... a crackpot! wheres that noose?

i always find that if your going dished, the same size non dished wheels appear much larger than the dished.

Dished are good as long as they are very large!

I'm a rimmer :D

Dished.

Think you need one more option, small dish:), only go deep dish if you have 18" minimum... car below had 19's with a small dish...

To be honest i like both on a zed , really liked these TSW PACE that i borrowed ...

Was looking at buying a set but was tempted by the stainless rim and deep dish on these ULTRALITE HIKARI,s

The main reason for me was that my cars a daily driver and i,ve seen sooo many either diamond cut or polished alloy rims that have a clear laquer on them for protection that has corrosion creaping behind the laquer after being curbed and looks bl00dy awful , i have caught two of these on curbs and being stainless there,s no corrosion issues :hyper: :hyper:

Like both as Ive had mania pacifics which were not dished and do look bigger than my now dished rims.

Barry

and dont ask 'which silver convertable?' :slap:

which silver convertable????

hmm i think dish - but personal choice

no dish and dish

on a big power jap car its gotta be DISH :D but there are a few cars that lok well with no dish or rimmer rims

Dished all the way.......

.......but there are some rims out there where (like Mania Pacifics) where spokes to the rim look good.

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Dish is an absolute MUST on big RWD cars. I think Steve's is the only car I've seen where flat rims look good. But in general, I'd never fit flat rims. You get a much more aggressive stance with dished rims.

It's not JUST the dish though. IMHO, stance can make or break a car regardless of what rims it has. Mine doesn't look great at the moment as it needs dropping, wheels need spacing ever so slightly and adjustable camber arms need to be fitted.

This is proof that stance and dished rims need to work and IMHO, looks amazing.

IMO a small polished dish with a nice centre looks classy, no dish only works with a very limited number of rims and colour schemes, ie Steve 300ZX, but perhaps best of all is a staggered front and rear dish:), eg Si's wheels, look class!!

Brabus wheels!

Was perfect apart from the exhaust.

Lol would you beleive the guy hated the exhaust, and wanted rid ASAP!! Joel, I liked that one too, no body mods, just lowered on coilovers and with nice wheels...
