ive got my EYE on a very nice one!!! ive been in contact with him and going to see it on the 17th of nov when i come back from spain if its still for sale???? but i dont want to buy the first car i see unless its RIGHT!!!!

if you ask me these cars dont seem to be selling VERY QUICK so why dont people get back to you with details???????? DO THEY REALLY WANT TO SELL???? :confused: :confused: :confused:

I was going to get rid of my zed after 9 months and a manual con. Then I thought, why not take the engine, brakes, supension, interior to the next level. This type of cars gets you bad. Would never sell it now as I will never get my money back and I have a point to prove to my mates. I don't think I will even be able to drive it till about the end of next year, but I can't wait.

find yourself a car thats nice and clean, reasonable mileage, runs well with good compression and 100% on the conzult check, send me the service history book and il make it have a full service history!

I've had mine for over 10 years and since the 60,000 cambelt change I've serviced it myself (just oil, fluid and filter changes). You certainly won't find many Nissan dealers working on these now and stamping the service books..

find yourself a car thats nice and clean, reasonable mileage, runs well with good compression and 100% on the conzult check, send me the service history book and il make it have a full service history!

Nope.unfortunately, thats called a large section of the motor trades minor misdemeanors. :shock:

I doubt your going to get a car with legit full service history, im curious about meht's car, if it has had services since 2001 and all if ok im very surprised that your turning it away for such a little thing. A car could have full service history but have other problems. I just think you may be setting your sights too high. Also has the owner of what ever car your thinnking about getting said he is ok with you taking his car to zed world before you buy it (unless he's going too that is).

My uk tt car came with a folder of new+ old receipts, A full documented service history + a photographed step by step documented 60k service.

Buggers still running on five after a weeks use. :headvswal :rant:

says it all really..things do and usually will go wrong at some point in the life of a z32. dont make the mistake of not looking at great zeds with missing paperwork. If its mechanically sound, body work and electronics are 100%, then do check them out. even if a , say 15 year old car, has 100% of paperwork it may still have issues, as to which stated above does happen, though less of a chance of it doing so.

Cars with full service history are generally owned by people with no mechanical knowledge, and as such can be a worse purchase than from someone who is a car enthusiast and does all there own work.

 

Service history honestly means nothing, i put my truck in for its MOT last month and it failed on having a chassis mount totally fooked (bloke says it was very dangerous) and it had been serviced by Nissan (its a Navara D22) a month before and been given all green ticks in the chassis checks! :shock: :smash:

 

Id rather buy a car from someone who i could talk shop to and could tell me about all the things he has done, how often etc, rather than looking at a book with some ink stamps :nono:

Supose you got Tommi Makinen to varify it was a legit evo 6 and not a copy.....

 

think you are not seeing the wood for the trees mate .....a service history on a 16 to 18 year old car means jack shit .........if its enthusiast owned as many many are on here it will no doubt be maintained to a very high order often above the level of care and detail a "dealer would go to" i change my oil and filter every 3000 miles drain down and refil the coolant / flush the block every 6000 miles .......not because i have to but because i want to ....anyway good luck , hope you get what your looking for .....hope you have deep full pockets as well :))
