Just finished installing new KYB's and Ground Control adjustable coilovers with Eibach springs. First pic is with the original suspension. May have gone a bit too low in the back, what do ya think?

Shame the front end isn't a little bit lower, but the back is very low for Eibachs. Looks good! Lovely looking car overall. :duffer:

Yes I agree, but the good thing about the Ground Control set up is I can set them at any height. After pulling all four wheels off twice and adjusting them a little lower each time, I figured I would let them settle for a few days and then do a final adjustment.

What type of wheels are they mate?

I'm not positive. They came on the car when I bought it. They have "Bozway" written on the center caps, but I have never heard of this brand. Do look nice when their cleaned up...

great wheels. Back looks great but as above, front needs to go much lower, it looks stock height.

Looks great mate, id leave it as is now....

Looks awesome mate but Definately lower the front mate, you know you want a lawnmower

OK, dropped the front as far as I could without rubbing at full lock or over sharp bumps. Hope this satisfies the "go lower" brigade! It's not Wozzer low but I'm pretty happy with how it sits. My wheels are pretty wide so I will need to do some arch rolling if I want it any lower.

As for how it's done -

1. Take one set of KYB AGX shocks.

2. Add Ground Control coilovers with Eibach Springs - http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=64

3. Slide the threaded collar over the base of the shock, slide on the spring, install the new top spring seat (some grinding required on the stock front seat to fit the new Ground Control seat).

4. Presto! You now have quality coilovers for less than 600 quid. :hyper:

5. Adjust about half way, lock everything down, put the wheels back on, check the height.

6. Take the wheels off and lower some more.

7. Repeat until hard things start to rip the cr@p out of your tires.

8. Bring her back up two turns.

Next step - Anti roll bars and adjustable arms to get the allignment right. Took her a fast drive last night to Portsdown Hill, and the improvment in handling was incredible!

Had the stock 17 year old suspension. Rolled like a SOB in hard corners (see pic). I've set the shock dampening at the halfway settings and although it's a bit stiffer the ride is not harsh at all. I've taken it through a few roundabouts at speed and it felt like it was on rails. After I install the ARB's and get the alignment right it should be perfect.

That does look really good Marco.. If you find someone local to us to roll the arches, let me know please buddy, my fronts need doing... Thanks!!

that looks spot on there mate, are they 19's they look huge! am just waiting for me new wheels coming in the next few days then the next step is coilovers and your set-up sounds cracking to me :D

That's not a lowrider. This is a lowrider

second one down with a "cheech and chong" steering wheel!

Love it...
