Some of you may have read the goings on in the Tech forum as a result of Danny posting about the availability of the new ConZult software/hardware!

 

Right, firstly this has been created/developed by Eric(Lymon & Chums) as a very, very close if not perfect replica of Nissans very own Consult software/hardware which is what Nissan use to test your car when you have a problem with it.

 

Most Nissan dealers will charge you around 30+ squids for the privilege of having this carried out. Hardware they use is unique to Nissan although the software has been tweaked and frigged from the OBD(On Board Diagnostic) standards that most modern day car manufacturers now use.

 

My beef is this, Eric and his mates have spent alot of time developing this software and as I remember the first I saw of this was last year, just after TRAX so that's a good 9 months ago.

 

So this has been eagerly awaited to say the least. Why is it that when ZedWorld has been appointed to be the UK distributor the Usual Suspects throw their toys out of the pram?

 

It makes sense to me, Phuong has been appointed to distribute in the US at his company GR Racing, DTA in Europe(I think, stand to be corrected) and ZedWorld over here in Blightey.

 

Nissan Consult Computers are valued at thousands of pounds and to be perfectly honest if you can get one you are a) very lucky as they are not on general release to the public and b) fucking expensive as they are about 5-10K

 

So guys, what the fuck is the problem? Danny and Jeff are giving you and me the chance to have this at our fingertips for a mere 235/250 GBP!!!

 

Where would we be running these bitch expensive to run cars without people like Johnny(GPS), Smithy(Cybercraft), Jeff & Danny(ZedWorld), SE, Hiteq, Z Centre???

 

Come on, stop being such nit picking fuckers and accept it, you don't have to buy it! So why slate them for what they are selling?

 

Try buying a Blitz Reallize Cat back direct from RaceLogic and see how much you pay or a full Traction Control system!

 

I can honestly say that I have saved thousands of pounds buying from above mentioned companies because they are not out to screw us for as much as they can get...but just out to see us with smiles on our faces enjoying our expensive bloody cars!

 

IMHO, sue me if you like and up yer arse if you do!

 

P.S. if you can do better then step upto the challenge and show us what we've all been missing!

The usual suspects on here that post thread after thread after thread and contribute sweet f$%k all in any real terms, and always kick up the biggest stink when opinions are not to there liking.

 

So much i say again for everyone having the freedom to express themselves.

at the end of the day Someone like Duff has been of far more value on this forum for his replys than 99% of this board.

 

I agree with Tooley, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

FFS give the guy a break!

At the end of the day he's helped loads of people out on this forum for little or no reward.

There's not that many people out there that are willing to drop tools to help someone out.

I remember him fitting Timmy's new exhaust in the pissing rain, it took about 2-3 hours. I don't know if I'd be willing to do that! (how many of you would be?) & he copped shit for that too!!! FFS!

Lets face it - opinions is the total sum of that majority of post on this forum these days anyway - You deny people that - and your back to a Tech forum and a Which wheel is best Forum.

Personally I don't have any problems with people expressing their opinions, it's the style with which their expressed. It seems to me that there are a lot of keyboard warriors out there who think it's OK to use whatever language about another member. Would you speak to someone like that in a Pub no, not unless you wanted to get your head kicked in! So just because your missus won't give ya a bunk up, treat some of the other members with some courtesey!

I agree with Andys help on the forum, It has been excellent,but because of that people dont have to agree with every oppinion he has FFS,Like you said express your oppinion some will agree and some won't.

I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me on everything I say - in the same way I'd hope people would give me some lee-way on my opinions... I am not going to go on about who started it etc etc etc - that's like being back at the playground. We are all grown up here - even Clarkey is no longer a minor (warren don't get too excited!!! ). I know Timmy reasonably well and we've had more than our fair share of disagreements over the last 6 months. Others I talk to on a regular basis, some of the newer members I haven't met yet but I'm sure the time will come.

 

Lets bury the hatchet once and for all eh? I'll keep stum about business getting free adverts etc from now on. I am sorry if I've caused any offence. All I want is an easy life - I'm sure everyone else is the same...
