Looking at that pic that tail pipe looks as long as the gear stick

That rear pipe looks odd in the pictures. Could be a nice car though otherwise. Nice interior, etc. Maybe the stripes look better in real life? No phots of the engine though but sounds like it may have had a rebuild so thats good as well. The tone of the description doesn't really fill me with confidence though, wonder what the engine looks like?

Theres no milege mentioned, service history, worries me that if he spent 2k on the respray, then 1k on the seats then why would he take 2600k for it? Thats not taking into account what he bought the car for. Seems a litle too cheap but then on the other hand it could be a minter and an amazing bargain.

Maybe im just a little too wary of things but theres nothing shouting out about that car other then its a SWB/TT.

EDIT: This picture where you cant see the stripes is the best veiw of the car

i think he left it in the road when they were repainting the white lines the seats look like theyve got bog roll on them and hes got 1 of those "nismo" cheap gearknobs off ebay ( i know i bought 1 then threw it away when it turned up ) he should be educated with a knucle duster for doing that to that car imho of course

Well if anyone is interested I will go and take a look at it for them and give my opinion, it is after all a SWB manual TT and might be worth the money.

I really like it!!!

Hi buddy,

I would have PM'd, but you don't seem to be accepting them

I am interested in this car for a wide arch conversion, and would greatly appreciate anyone being able to give the car the once-over.. My main concern, obviously, is the engine, as he doesn't seem to know an awful lot about the mechanical history.

Happy to pay if a compression test/Conzult check can be done at all.. And/or petrol money if you're fairly local to it?

Let me know if you can help me out buddy.

Many thanks..

And the rest!! Have you not noticed all the scafolding screwed to the boot?? Infact remove ALL the crap stuck to that car and it would look nice...just like a natural Z should!

Hi bud, not been able to read pm's for over a month now and not sure why so I disabled them to stop people thinking I am ignoring them. I will contact him tonight and see if I can arrange to view it tomorrow evening, give me your email address and I will let you know what I find, will take my conzult along and try to borrow a compression tester if possible.

Just looked at the ad properly and I recognise the car, it use to be Yellow and belong to PK1 if that helps.
