I'm trying to scan the whole of the 99 spec brochure, but it's too big for my scanner :D

i see the pics from the 1999 jspec thread revived... can u beleive that car first came out in 1989? timeless bloody timeless.

i'm making mine 99 spec, been tihnking about it for a while but YES its going for the awesome look! :D

Truth be told, i would even say it looks amazing on the standard rims....

Might go for that totally standard OEM look on the outside, just where to start!

^^^ just make sure you get UK rims for it not the Jspec ones as you don't get the deeper dish rear.

That's only 10 years though. IIRC, the NSX was out for 12 and the Austin Maestro was out for about 15! lol

Final production was in 2000. 11 years

Final sales were early 2001.

Still beaten by NSX..which was 15 years! - 1990-2005

The final 184 ;) lol

Didnt realise they were different, im going to have to start the research and costing. I need to tidy up mine a bit, got a few blemishes on it so i think its the way to go. Front bumper all scabby and nasty anyway! I dont like the alloys on it at the moment and i've never been massivly fond of the series 1 spoiler, looks a bit, well crap to be honest lol... So defo 99 spec, return to 4 tail pipes etc etc... by the time ive fnished that the engine will most likly have blown up or caused some expensive damage to its self so then it will be "more power" o'clock!

ha lol, im getting there... just reading a through a book I have, apparantly 6 were delivered in 2001 to their new owners, although the last were built in august 2000

The 99 spec car had a modified stiffer chassis too.

Yep  , it had the same chassis structual upgrades that the Convertible has.
