Thinking of getting some rims as im on standard atm.

Seen some wolfrace ones i like in the local Halfrawds.

My question is, will the tyres they supply with the rims kill me ?

Featured Replies

They come with tyres

Think they were around £695 for rims and tyre package

any idea of the make and model of the tyre?

And check the rims aren't all the same width! ;)

what benefit is there to having wider wheels on the back?

Wider wheels,bigger tyres,more grip!

lol didn't realise it was that simple :slap:

Better off going for castors IMHO :)

Dunno

was only browsing so far but ill ask a few questions

i think its a good idea to find out what tyres they supply. my brother got a wheel/tyre package for his fto and it handled like a dog until he changed the tyres.

Not to mention appearance. Theeee only rims to have on a big RWD beast are dished rims with much wider rears. :)

Gives the car much more road appeal.

it does look much better. will deffo get some wider rears when i change my wheels

Why don't you hold out mate, if my car doesnt sell within a couple of weeks-month then I might start selling some of the aftermarket parts off it to return it to standard which would include the wheels. Obviously i'd be looking for some std wheels in part ex. Just thought i'd give you the option.

in your opinion

race technology 19" 245s all round ( came with car) problem is the clearance on the front, between the inner edge of the tyres and the mounts for the upper camber arms, think my shocks n springs on the front are shot as when cornering right the arms sometimes touched the bloody tyre, perhaps spacers will remedy this, or are they just to fat for the front

in your opinion

Agreed!!!!! I've got OZ Super Tourismos on mine and they suit the car really well (IMO). No dish what-so-ever...
