Hey all, well after many months of my new seats sitting the spare room along with the extra alcantara material i had to order to get a perfect colour match for retrimming the remaining panels & back seats, i finally got round to stripping them all out and ran them upto Dave up at D2 Trimmers in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire.

I have to say i think he's done a wicked job  and for a very reasonalbe price too. After about a week they were ready to be collected but i couldn't get up there to collect them, so after handing over the cash to cover it Dave very kindly arranged for a courier to deliver them.

Took me couple of weeks to getting round to fiiting them but finally managed it over the Bank Holiday weekend. I think they absolutely transform the car and am well pleased with the overall finish.

I'd just like to thank Dave once again for his hard work and superb craftsmanship and would recommend him to any of you wanting any retrim work doing just visit http://www.d2trimmers.co.uk

Just got to get round to fitting the new steering wheel & indiglow dials this wkd.

Here's a few before and after pictures

Lovely transformation. Considering alcantara/leather in mine as opposed to full leather. Nice work.

also did you get the roof vinyl done or the vinyl in the back between the rear quarter glass and the tweed?

Looks awesome!!!!!! Looks like a much newer car!!!

BUT!

Please please please change the god awful stock steering wheel for something to match the moden looks of your new interior!

Thanks for the comments guys, i really am over the moon and nice to know others appreciate my taste... ;)

XAV2075 - i'd really rather not say as Dave did do me a good a deal as i ran them upto him and supplied my own material but lets put it this way i did shop around for prices and Dave was VERY competetive & the best ;) If you go on the website his number is on there and he'll sort you out a quote over the phone... HTH

JaffaZ32 - Got the seats of Fleabay last year from a company in Holland running a special promotion - £200 Delivered  I also went back to them for the material to do the rears & all panels as i couldn't find anywhere over here that had the same colour match and they gladly supplied ;) Will try and find the invoice & get you the name or web link, i'm sure they're still trading. No i didn't need to replace any of the vinyl as it was all in vgc.

Takemetothepub - I know! As i said at the bottom of the original thread it is definately next on my list already got the Boss just need to get the wheel that i've already found - Mountney with Blue inserts to match the rest of the car :p

Now that very nice, I see your old drivers seat cover was in good nick. What are doing with the old seat covers as mine are a bit worn? :D

nice prefer alacantra over leather, much more stable when cornering than leather.

good job though

That,s looks the mutts mate   , one day i,ll get mine done :smash:

Cheerz bud, as the width between the mounting holes on the new seats were wider than that of the old i had to get some mild steel folded brackets (also had them powder coated in black) made up to bring the width in so i could mount the original rails onto them not to difficult at all and have a man that can make 'em up pretty quickly, still got electric forward and backward motion on the drivers seat :D

Are these the ppl you are talking about?

Seams like a very good price, and you say if you ask, they can supply the matirial for the rest of the pannels? how much extra did they charge you and how much extra material did you get?

Cheers

Neil

Wow spot on, i might order some.

JJP how did you fix these in place?

are they comfortable and can you slide them forwards/backwards and up/down?

Also racing harnesses is there a way of fitting them without loosing access to the rear seats?
