There's gonna be another one pretty soon if the lad who just bought one in Wells, summerset is anything to go by.

 

Some young lad who's only just got a Zed after getting rid of his 1.6 FWD chav mobil was trying to get everyone to race him the other day. Don't fancy his or the Zed chances of surving the winter :shock:

Shame that the chavs think that it gives them super powers over the winter weather, just because it'sa high perfomance car, with my first TT it took me a good few months before i felt comfy with the power and that was in the summer

Yep I must admite the first couple of months I was carefull with mine except on nice empty stretches of motorway and I'd had experience in other turbo high power RWD cars so I knew what to expect.

Its a black TTauto 92 reg J Spec with black leather interior. Thought it should be worth £2500. :cool:

Was in a gazillion bits but it ran and i drove it off the low loader and to her new home, where she has remained for the last 4 month while i rebuild her!

It's annoying as mine was 3500 and i doubt I'd get that back.

New turbos 5000 miles ago(receipt avail to prove)

Just been to Zworx for Two new O2 sensors and prop bearing change. Mickey has also done oil n filter and checked all other fluids. i have no idea how an auto box should work but Mickey tells me its spot on.

ive just finished doing the spoiler removal- new perspex smooth look.

Basically ready next week and ready to drive away(currently on a SORN!) All the "usual" faults have been fixed. :dance:

Ill put a "for sale " ad up next week. :cool:

if someone buys it for £2500 ill be satisfied. If they can sell it on for more... good luck to them. It probably is worth a little more, but I just want to move it on.

It's the time of year. Christmas, slippy roads etc etc.

 

Best time to buy one now and sell around March April time IMHO.

thats not for anyone else to say mate. But with a little hindsight now that does look overpriced.

Compare it to the UK TTauto that is for sale on Z Club.net at the moment. £3000. Its white and owned by MickeyB from Z worx.

But having a well known former owner(IMO) does nothing for the value of a car.

But you've paid 6500 for a very tidy and excellent car. you may well have got it cheaper but on paper that's good so I wouldn't think about it too much.

Oh there is no IF about it!!

Its for sale. Just got to cut back the laquer on the tailgate and finish offf a couple of other minor jobs.

I will put up a for sale once its ready to drive away.

I expect to be ready early next week.

Everyone thinks that winter is the wrong time to sell cars, well it is to some extent BUT the period round Xmas and new year always sees a flurry of interest and sales.

Just make sure you have the cash waiting. LOL :)
