My boxer puppy is getting a bit large to go in the back of my golf so looking around to get a cheapish estate car as a runaround.

So far been thinking scooby wagon or 850 R??

Dont really want to spend more than £3k ish as its only to run the dog around and generally arse around in :p

We have the same problem with our boxer puppy now and funnily enough my other half suggested a scooby wagon

u both have roads around you, so save your self the dosh and just get your asses out and start pounding the roads with the dog, easy. plus road walking/running is better for a dog anyway, in that way, you keep everyone happy coz both of you are getting fit. lol

He doesnt just come in the car so we can take him for a walk - he comes with us if we are visiting relatives, going to vets, picking the kids up from school etc...

T5R I'd go for.

Although the Vectra GSi estate is quite nice. 200bhp, reliable and cheap to maintain.

OR...something slightly different....fancy going old skool and getting a E30 325i Touring?

get a transit van, plenty of room for dogging aswell pmsl

I've got a Vectra 2.0GLS on a W plate, pretty reliable and cheap to run/insure/repair. Boot is nice and big and doesn't have a lip on it so its good for our dog getting in and out.

140bhp of throbbing power!!!

I've got a BMW 525i tourer and its a beauty. Its a 1995 model (e34) was £1000 with 205000miles when I got it haha it nows has 212000 and pulls like a train (no joke, its like a sports car). I've had to replace the fuel pump on it which was £150 and stick a metal water pump that was £30. I really rate them as they are so so cheap and are also really easy to work on. Plus the engines commonly go to 300k miles which is awesome in these days of disposable cars.
