im new to the forum (couldnt find a newbies thread) anyway hello everyone, my question is would an intake plemum off a 1990 300zx fit a 1994 300zx ? its just i was looking to buy one to polish up as my friend wants a polished one for his car and rather than the car being off the road while i polish it we could just swap them over.

yep you'll need to subscribe to be able to do that...its £20 for the year and you get a pack of goodies as well as discounts with traders etc

i didnt really want to subscribe as i own a r32 gtr not a 300zx, i was just trying to help out a friend by buying a plenum to save him having his z off the road while i polish it for him. il email him and get him to sort it as he is already registered i think.

It does mate, it's just the balance bar that is slightly different and even then it can stil be used on a manual. Oh and love the new sig mate :D

Daz, the water inlet pipes come up well when polished and for some nice bling feel free to check out my website :)

Cheers :) That took about 20 hours including doing the TBs. Just so awkward getting in all the little gaps. You don't have to polish every part as most is not visible once the plenum is installed. Just the tops and a bit of the sides of the runners is plenty. Don't worry too much about the sides either - once on the car these are mainly covered up ;) Still took 20 fookin hours tho LOL

 

When I did my own it was a quick job - 4 hours start to finish but thats because it was for my own car and I wasn't bothered about it being perfect ;)
