Finished installing my headlight inserts today! Cleaned up the lenses and globes, wiped the rubber seals with silicone cleaner and dropped new silica gel bags in there to keep them nice and dry :cool:

 

Very pleased with the results. Big thanks to Wez for being so patient with me to return the exchange items. I've had 'em for a couple of months now :eek:

 

Just got to get the fuel leak sorted now! ;)

they look ace hun, those lights so freshen the car up i saw dave zx s that hed done on his and they look great, cant imagine my DIY job would look quite as proffessional!!!

Have you got HID's to go in them ? It is probably one of the most useful mods I've done, especially as the nights are drawing in ! :mad:

They look great Steve.. whack some HID's in bud and they will look superb .. job well done mate

you,ve got to have hid's its the best mod on a zed, did mine 2 years ago with the chrome inserts and hid never looked back makes the car look newer.............and you can actually see where youre going at night especially in the rain

LOL - I've had 2 sets of HIDS and I've sold 'em on before I've fitted them. Not sure if UK headlights are different to Jap, but I've honestly not felt the need to change them (yet ;) )

What did you use for the inserts? Did you paint them with chrome paint?

Look good. Although I'm still undecided as to whether I like these. Love the dark angry looking units without them in.

No it's a proper chrome layer - I think it's called "Vacuum Metalizing"
