imprezza... :nono:

not a huge fan of skylines...find them a little ugly

bmw m3...dont wanna bm! sure they are nice but they all seemed owned my idiots :mac1: :D

I'd go for the vx220 for that money, a little more expensive than the elise but rarer on the roads, better engines and handle better. My ex boss has one and it's gorgeous, chipped and tuned to 190bhp on the 2.2 na engine

skyline!!!!!

laura HATES them!

saw a couple at the weekend and i couldn't get her to sit in one!

lol  you could go for the turbo she can go for the elise :D

From experience the Elise is awesome but very impractical and bear in mind I pay less the £400 a year to insure the Z whereas the Elise was costing £1K!

Not driven an XK8, but never liked their appearance. Remind me of a boat and the Elise, it's good fun to drive, nippy but not especially quick (early ones). Too small for me really although I've driven a few of them and a VX220...prefered the VX220.

i was hankering after an early/mid 90's esprit

but really gonna need 4 seats unless i do make her keep the almera!

hmmmm!

^^^ That's more like it. When the Esprit started too really get attractive. V8 Twin Turbo. Gorgeous sounding and looking. Still circa £20k though for the. I'd more than likely go for a Honda NSX. Not as quick, but there's something very special about the NSX.

my bud has got one of those V8's....utter mare of a car servicing is ££££££ all the time....bits fall off or break for no reason...and to think he used to have a stillen zed before that....oh well

The Jag's a nice car. Not pretty imho but nice.

Elise isa track car really - noisy, impractical. Plus no LSD so drive heard and you'll probably spin it.

How about an Integra DC5? Best of all worlds! Or a V6 Clio.

Yep, the integra dc5 is a safe bet, or maybe one of those

vauxhall monaro things.

Deffo wouldn't bother with a jag, cost a fortune to service/run,

and they loose so much value, so quickly.

The XK8 is a nice car - classy looking but not so exciting to drive.

I drove a few earlier this year, thinking of replacing the ZX and to be honest I was disappointed. I've always been a Jag fan but the XK8 feels ponderous and very lardy - they were all sub 50k mile cars going for £15k-ish too, so not shagged ones.

I belive the XKR is better but didn't get round to trying one. I kept my ZX and bought an SLK instead; it's more fun to drive than the Jag.

If you can stretch to the Supercharged baby, go for it. Otherwise don't even think of a £9k XK8 - it is like buying a £1.5k ZX from Fleabay; very risky :nono:

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
