I am hopefully going to change my water pipes for a polished set, what else will I need, ie sealant / gaskets?

Maybe even a step by step guide...

Thanks

you will need to drain some if not all of your coolant system so some anti freeze wouldnt be a bad idea :D

Anti-freeze, forgot that, what sealant / gaskets would I need and where from?

gaskets not needed but you will need to make sure old sealant it cleaned off and a very light smear of the same on mating surfaces, when cleaning the surfaces be very carefull as with any jap castings its very presice and dont take kindly to heavy gouging when cleaning the milled surface

There wasn,t a gasket on mine , i gather there just sealed .

While there off bud check the condition of the two small rubber pipes these go onto ,inturn the rubber pipes then fit onto two small metal stubby pipes , these do rust and cause leaks , easy to change and doesn,t cost too much .

BTW you,ll need some allen key sockets to get to the allen bolts that hold the main pipes on . HTH
