Insurance - Bloody hell!!!!

I am 31 with full ncb and the best I can get on a Fairlady is £515 third party fire and theft!

Does anyone think they know of a company to beat this or am I too optimistic?

Sorry - that doesn't sound too bad. Try bell direct (.co.uk) - always best for me.

Carole Nash - better for classic/2nd car but still worth a try..

Very expensive for TPFT :x:

When I used to insure mine as a daily driver I got it for around the £400-£450 mark with both Bell Direct & Lifesure fully comp. That was with protected full NBC and at 33 years old.

I now insure it as a classic with Carole Nash for £265 fully comp.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Love the front of your car Coopers-SWB, I think you're bumper and the 99spec ones are the best looking around. Thats an awful place to put your number plate though, it'll cut off half the air to the rad and contribute to the engine over-heating :(

heratige insurance matey, mines a 1990 tt manual swb, i rang them 5k miles a year parked on driveway, 5years ncb protected and it cost me £280. i havent found anyone that can beat that

forgot to add...insured under classic car insurance.

must re-subscribe..

I got my Zed in January and transferred the insurance from my previous Prelude 2.2...cost not too much extra , plus £80 for the 17" Volk Racing wheels . On Saturday , had a letter from AA Insurance Services saying renewal would cost £820 !! And that`s with £500 Excess and without protected NCB :headvswal

Anyway , went straight on t`internet to the Auto Trader site , clicked on insurance for quotes . Got a deal with Budget for £345

Fully Comp .

£250 Excess .

Protected full no claims .

3 points : they expire 16 days after the policy starts :wack:

Parked on street in London :(

My Age : " High Mileage "

Try it , mate .
