its gone very quiet since you stopped posting " whats wrong with my car" threads .. the replies had me in stitches .. but i am sorry to hear about all that has gone wrong with ur zed bud

I dont post any problems i have at the moment due to the fact i am about to take legal action against the person i bought my engine off, unless the TLO's can sort it out sooner for me.

obviously it would be better for the particular trader to contact me and sort this out but as of yet nothing

I believe the solicitor gave him til next week (not too sure) to reply to his letter about giving me money back.

im sure all will end up being told soon enough, but due to waiting for the TLO's to sort this out first i am giving them the chance

nice car but i think the circa 10k price for z's is now 2 years too late....a lot of money has gone into though which means you know you wont be spending on it again for a while

Who did you actually buy the engine from? Was it the person who's selling this car???

Maybe I have the wrong end of the stick.

I think this is worth every penny. Tasteful mods, well cared for and stunning looks :)

If you have seen that car in real life you would agree that it is alot of car for not alot of money really.

Yep, if I was looking now I'd have been on the phone this afternoon. That's an *awful* lot of car for £9.5k, and one of the few zeds I've seen with a wide-arch kit that I really like. Lovely wheels too.

I agree.

But £9500 is still a lot of money to pay for someone elses creation not your own.

It might be hard to find a buyer who agrees exactly with chris's spec/ideas.

There is a lot of shiny stuff on this car but there is still a lot of standard car too.

Stock engine

Stock turbos

Stock gbox and drive train.

No adjustable tie rods and no adjustable top arms to go with the coil overs. So only "partially adjustable" suspension.

Quoting the ad..."over £30K has gone into this car..."

Where???

Fair point on the performance front. I'm guessing a big chunk of that 30k is bodywork and respray. Does make you wonder what somebody like Mac1's car would be worth given that he's unquestionably got the performance to match the looks.

You never get the price of mods back on your car but believe me if you want a nice widebody manual then it will be cheaper to buy this car than getting some ebay sh1tter and thinking your going to do it all up for a couple of grand.

Christ Pete!

Settle down mate, the lad is trying to sell this car.

Just because he still has stock engine and tubs doesn't mean he cannot have spent 30K on it.

tizer is happy with my old car at £10k  i was even offerd £15k for mine and same for chris car at a show were were at but said no at the time :headvswal

Bloody hope I am kidding... We don't wanna lose another one! Just started the "Where is Macca thread..."

i think you will find he is on his HOIL's bud .....

macca is at "swimming pools R us" getting the biggest pool possible as he has a lot going in it

Glad to hear Mac isn't selling. Have had another look at Chris's car, and think I'd still spend around that kind of money to get it... same as Sgt C's really. Not a lot in terms of performance mods, but looks great, and to take my car from stock and make it look like that... well, you're talking an awful lot more than the price difference between selling mine and buying Chris's. Still can't afford it though so better stop dreaming. :-S
