I'm only here until 3:30 though, fortunately.

 

shame i just happen to be booked of work for another 3 weeks so nah.

But im stuck here at home which is almost as bad lol.

On the plus side I do get double time today and a day off in lieu...and as I already have 25 days holiday yet to take this year, I'm taking August off work!

 

I also seem to be spending most of the time today talking about my car - conversations usually starting with "That your car in the car park?" No, mate - I just nicked it and decided that my best joyriding experience would be to meander through Redditch and park in a car park....

lol i am in serious back trouble at the moment, just as my ribs came righ, arm is fine, then bam, back into hospital.

I have the rest of the holiday off and a random day somewhen in the future from working this GF.

 

There's a big thing here - all the Shift Leaders have bought everyone else chocolate eggs today, for some strange reason that I can't fathom - so I now have stacks of the stuff on my desk and I can't eat any of it. Courtesy of genes from my mum, eating chocolate gives me migraines. yay....

PaulG - Yup! They certainly are. I work for AT&T as a Technical Voice Specialist and I've taken a massive NO calls today. Don't know where I find the time to breathe...

how wierd is that....its not chocolate that gives me migrains but jelly babies and being the thick northern muppet that i am i still eat them from time to time

Allergic to Jelly Babies...?? That's rough - the black ones are the best flavour!

 

They're currency in one of the Re-enactment groups that I belong to and the black ones are the highest valus, there being so few of them in the packet per se.

Im at work all weekend too. It sucks at CGE&Y

Not one single work-related call all day thus far. It's just SO worth me being here...

 

Did get to drive my Zed at lunchtime with the top off, though, so that was a good thing.

Well I have just got home from work, did start at half five though. Unfortunately the airport is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Which means we have to be there to. But in there limitless generosity the company give us a massive £30 bonus when our shift coincides with a bank holiday.

Still when you spend an hour pumping 250 tonnes of fuel onto a 747 it kind of makes filling up the Z a little less painful.

I was supposed to be working but took the phone off the hook and hoovered, scrubbed, wiped, washed, polished, etc etc until my nail bled. All to look nice for tomorrow's meet.

 

Now that's over, must get the car done!

Arrived at work ohhhh about 1900 hours Tuesday, banged out about 31.5 hours between me arriving and leaving at about 1830 hours Thursday and off until next Tuesday! Hard life but someones gotta do it...heeee heeee heeeee haaaa haaaaa haaaaaa
