£50 on pads biggrin.gif

Herman

Including purchase ? It hurts to think ... What about running costs ? I know I've spent £4.5K on fuel. Maybe we should have a cost per mile - probably not a good idea, everyone would sell up and buy a Micra !

£12,750 to purchase 1990 UK manual about 5 years ago. Since then new turbos £2000 + Suspension bushes £ 600 plus clutch £ 200 plus crank case seal leak £500 Plus 4 heater matrixes £ 500 plus engine overhaul £3500 So I supoose all in all about £20000 if you include tyres and genreral servicing.

DON'T tell my wife!!!!

Bought for £4,500

Front tyres £230

Rear tyres £300

Traction Control £600

Spark Plugs £80

2 oil changes £90

Lots of petrol £1,000,000 biggrin.gif

About £6,000 Could be worse

Stuart

im in for about £20 to date. and still spending lol frown.gif

£35 for a rear wiper blade & arm from main dealer.

£600 for a main service from same place

sh*t loads of petrol.

I'm way over £20K, but it has been 3.5 years ...

OMG I really wish you had not said that! I just added up all the bills. 1991 J-Spec Auto 300zxTT was £10k to buy plus just over £16k over 2 years to maintain and upgrade.

Holy ****. I am immediately hiding the garage receipts, etc. The wife would KILL ME if she ever finds this out.

Owned for 11 months

£220 I think for rear tyres

£15 wiper blades

£16 oil

1 litre ATF fluid for power steering £8?

£16 front brake pads

Approx £2000 petrol

New heater matrix, gearbox rebuild and gearbox oil cooler, new PTU all paid for by warranty company so overall I've not done too bad so far

£4150 for my UK spec Manual 1990

£320 for my SE chip and fault diagnoses

£110 for New water pump and drive belts.

Myself I think that is cheap for supercar motoring. Lets face it a car that does 0-60 in 5 plus seconds and a 170mph top end, it ain't gonna be cheap. I think to get another car close in performance, you will be spending 20k plus.

Had since November

Bought £5200

bOUGHT LAST March for £6500 imported deristricted 91 TT....Mint condition 45k when bought....spent about £200 on general motoring i.e oil chahges coolant etc.......And just about to spend out for a water pump, otherthan that...i had a 3000GTO cost me 4 times as much.......

lookig at over 18K at the mo,

Baring in mind i have done over 75% of the work myself. That is a fucking sersious ammount of hardware.

Mind you when a fucking isolator clip for a cat pipe cost 14 quid the mystery starts to disappear !

Please please buy it - im gettin desperate now god damit !!!

Hmm...ok bought in 1999 for

£11,000

New PTU + Service = £50 (only paid for the service - Warranty paid for the rest)

New Stock Turbos = £250 (Again, Warranty came good here)

Traction Control = £500 more or less

Personal Plate = £250

Tyres = 1 x set of Bridgestone S03 = £420(ish)

Stillen Bumper = £500 ish

Petrol = Don't even want to think about it - certainly not the first 600 odd miles in the first weekend... smile.gif

And that's about it...

So in all about £13,000 minus petrol in the first 2 1/2 years of ownership. Oh and a new stereo, but I would have bought that anyway. But as it's my money I can do with it what I will. biggrin.gif

Hmmm....forgot my exhaust which was...uhm...about £500, I think...

Then Road Tax if ye're including that for 2 years : £380,

Insurance : About £1200...

Stereo : £700

Alarm : £450

Battery : £70

So total : just over £16,000.

Miles : Purchased at 97,000, currently on 129,000 so that makes a grand total of : approx £1.97 per mile + petrol.
