Can anyone recommend a good (without being too illegal) plate size for the 99 spec front. If you could would it be possible to post a link to a pic with a 99 spec front with front plate and size.

 

Im getting one made up and theres about 20 different sizes you can go.

I believe (there was a post) I can go slightly smaller as long as characters are sized well etc.

 

Would it be worth going for a square plate on the front?

I dont wanna get pulled all the time by police. Can I just have normal size letters and spacing but just have 10mm above, below and at the sides - that could cut the plate size down dramatically without changing letters.

:) yea small and proud,its cost me £30 so far but thats a small price to pay for increased air flow into rad area not to mention looks.

Exactly the same here as well (and same bumper :D ) never been pulled, and past MOT las December without any probs at all.

what size are characters mate? or did you just specify plate size and fancyplates work it out for you?

I've got the same, police did comment the other day but I havn't actually been pulled up. Its very legible anyway.

Fancyplates work it all out for you, and I had mine done in the standard letter style. I'd say that the digits are about 3/4 size, but is in the correct proportions.

Just specify UK standard font. It will be smaller but the characters are clear enough...
