"The Flaming Exhaust Control Module regulates spark and un-burnt fuel release timing to allow your vehicle to pass the needed gases to the Flaming Exhaust Spark Unit as needed."

ask blackmagic, as hes got one fitted - i also have a relay box that i was going to make my own from, just need a switch, 2 spark plugs and 2 coils with ht leads to fit.

WTF Would anybody want to do that though? apart from the "chav" side of it, it is also liable to melt your rear bumper but if thats what floats your boat... (The smell of burning plastic) LOL

Each to there own mate... the exhaust gas's should push the flame from the car, wasn't looking for approval... just some technical info on it!

Cheers mowgs, ill drop him a pm! :D

- should! there used to be a vid somewhere on steerfromtherear of brandy toasting his rear bumper, but its a rarity.

most will - as you say - throw the flame horizontally.

did have a scooby playing on the m25 on the way to japfest with flames rising straight up above the level of his boot spoiler - can only imagine that it must have been a butane one.

The BK Flamer is from here mate:-

Chicken Royale

This is the clip he advertises on his page:-

Chicken Supreme

It is an extra £35 for the dual kit that youll need so its £91.99 but its still way cheaper than other types.

Beware of other ebay sellers that only sell you a list of parts and instructions that you need.

aKamoto do one as youve listed but it sounds to me from their description as if the unit controls the ignition and adjusts fuel/sparks as nescesery...

NOT A GOOD IDEA....these Zeds are set up sooo precise if youve chipped it that fiddling around with the fuel/sparks could cause you engine damage...

Instead I would stick with a straight igniter of unburnt fuel...this will be ample unless you want 12 ft flames out the back in which case you would need the added Fuel/Gas lines...too dodgy for me.

Another option is St Albans Cars..they do them for £100 a kit of which you'll need two...so its £200.

There are various types of flamers...

1)One that just ignite unburnt fuel on the release of throttle

2)One that cuts your ignition spark to create more unburnt fuel (I think this is a sure way to fook ur engine)

3)Extra fuel injection (Thats a :nono: )

4)Gas injection

The one above is for just igniting any leftover unburnt fuel (safe version)

If you saw one with hooooooge flames he probably had an extra feed of fuel or gas.

These commemnts of setting light to the rear bumper are a load of poop unless you flame for about 5 mins at a time...in which case you want to buy a flame thrower and not a car flamer.

I have a couple of vid clips somewhere...will hunt them down and post up for ya

Hope that helps bud :duffer:

Punch a hole in an intake pipe somewhere, that should* sort flames from the exhausts when they get hot. Free as well :D

lol

Or just fit front side exit exhausts and be done with it....

Now that'll be Kentucky :smw:

i was under the impression that turbo cars didnt really need flamer kits as there is normally enough unburnt fuel when you lift off from overrun... its just a case of getting the exhaust hot enough to light it.. (my old 200 used to flame often on the track once it got upto speed..) maybe im wrong though

yer...You do get flames mate if like you say its hot enough and removing the backbox and having straight through works (as I have done) but not consistant or when you want..whereas a flamer is on tap :smw:

Yeah my 200 does it plenty when it's hot. Straight through exhaust + turbo = flame, I'd be embarrassed to have one of these flamer kits :smw:

ive seen a video of mac1 car with flames coming out and he hasnt one of these kits fitted

i dont think he meant for those flames tho did he???

manifolds?

hehe, could have done with those today - freezing my nuts off in a dry suit in bewl water.

Fair enough comment mate :duffer: but I really think these can damage your Z mate, but at the end of the day like I have said "your Z" . I followed a car the other day down the motorway with one of these flamer kits and it was full of chavs all looking out the back window to see my reaction as they where making flames shoot out the back of the zorst every few seconds, but the only reaction I gave was a huge smile when I noticed a big black smouldering patch appear on their Veilside bodykit :D :D I think they might have over done it and I FPMSL

Setting light to the rear bumper means it must be operated by a Chav..lol

You should only flame for about 5 secs at a time...Ive done it for much longer and my paint nor bumper were affected.

Although its good that you actually care about other Zed members cars

But it sounds like these KingChavs want to buy a flame thrower and not a car flamer.

lol...

And yes it is chav if you do it that much :xxx:

Prehaps they should go back to playing with their clippers

No flamer kit required, just a nice straight thru exhaust..............

 im not looking to do anythink that bad and i can see your point! and i do honestly appreciate the concern!

I love my Z and its all about having fun as far as im concerned, i think a flamer kit would be just that... a bit of fun! im not looking to impress anybody or melt the back of my car! iv spent far to much time and money on her to start doing stuff like that!
