There was this waitress. Late 20's I'd imagine. Not a supermodel by anymeans, but tidy. But there was just something nice about her. Couldn't put a finger on it. Not sure what it was, her smile? Eyes...dunno.

 

Anyway. We smilied at each other for quite a bit of the night. She said hello a few times. But I just didn't have the guts to ask her out. Felt a right tit walking past her as I went home last night.

 

What do I do????? Knock it on the head or go back and ask her for a drink??

Good luck and just take your time. Jobs that people do usually give a good indication as to what type of person they are. If she is a waitress, it would indicate that she is a people person and like helping people. It's a very weak profile as I don;t know much about her but that's how I weight people up sometimes.

Give it a couple of days for her to contact you. Firstly as a waitress she obviously works unsociable hours so she's probably resting whilst you are up and working. Secondly she won't want to seem too keen either - nothing wrong with a little waiting games, but it is fekking annoying!

 

And you're right - don't send her anything, she may think you are a wierdo if you do because you haven't been out with her yet!

 

If you don't hear from her after that just go back there for a drink with a mate (a good mate who you feel comfortable with) and if you see her, strike up a casual conversation. AND GET HER NUMBER!

Go and ask her. Even if she rejects you it means it won't be bothering you any more and you can get on with your life. Once you realise that rejection is your friend (because it gives you certainty, which is an awful lot better than uncertainty) the whole asking girls out thing becomes much easier, and I'm no expert. But hey, she might say yes, and wouldn't that be great?
