Not had the pleasure yet.....M3's easy but yet to challenge an M5.....had a new carrera the other day.....are modern cars getting slower?!? Or our zeds faster? :D

had a spat with an XKR....not much in it TBH...except his motor cost £50K more than mine....:D

I tried the previous generation M5 (V8) and it absolutely destoryed me, but my zed was standard at the time. They are very quick once moving, a very genuine 400bhp with similar Ib/ft. New ones are 500bhp V10 IIRC.

I reckon it was a (Sinclair) C5 mate:D

I had a similar thing happen to me the other week. I was in my ZED with the missus when a BMW went past my doors while I was being sucked off. :rofl: :nana2:

BMW M5 i think is a V8 with about 400 BHP and pretty nippy :)

 

I remember going home from mascrat while in my yellow beast and racing an M3 csl and made that look stupid but its the look on the face of "bolox just spent £60k on a german sprts car and been pi55ed on by a datson" that does it for me :)

It was fookin quick mate, one of the fastest cars I've ever driven. I bet that beemer driver was gutted.

yep, done the forum proud and caned a serious looking m5 away from the lights on freshly laid tarmac (allways the best) went from 1,st to 2,nd using auto shifter manually,boosting really good as it was a cold morning just getting close to the limiter on my mines ecu and------------ :( the fvckin thing detted knocking the boost into safety faster than jordan,s drawers hitting the bedroom carpet,yep the :xxx: passed me with a big grin on his face. now i buy nothing but optimax and it has,nt happend again,keeping my eyes peeled for the m5 though :xxx:
