Anyone know of the best place to get these? I did get one with the black Zed, but am looking for a spare.

Can you get full sets from Nissan if you quote them a specific number...and if so, where do you get this number? There's nothing written on the titanium key that I already have.

Looked on Ebay and Courtesy but nothing doing on there and I really don't want that NISMO thing....

Any idle-flears?

Cheers.....but I shall prepare myself for disappointment..... :)

If you give me the part no Anita,I can tell you what you are getting in replacement of the Titanium one.

Today my Nissan dealer said £10 for a replacement:rolleyes:

They were priced in 1990 at £68 then went to £180, so for £45 I think you could be getting one made from the Blue Peter show using old milk bottle tops :D:D;)

Milk bottle tops, yes I think that's the type I have!

at least I have two that open the drivers door and work the ignition, but don't operate the boot at all!???

And it definitely looks as if it has been made from milk bottle tops by some crack-using Blue Peter presenter!

Good job there's a button to unlock the car on the alarm thingy, so no-one sees me fiddling about in public (with the unfashionable key that is!).

Meanwhile it seems the alledged existence of titanium keys is one for Mulder and Scully (unless Anita comes up trumps and there's a sudden rush at her dealers). Anyway, the mounting exitement is great - much better than the anticipation I have for the eventual resolution of the 'which spark plug is best' debate!

te he (sorry to mention the 's' word again!)

Didn't one go on ebay a while back for over $500?

Hope so,If that is the case I will buy 500 £45 Ajay ones and make a nice tidy sum;)

Oh look what I just found....

CLICK!

I don't know how current the web page is, might be worth a try if you're desperate to have one of these keys.

:( Just looked and it appears that this page dates back to '01 might be worth an email at least. F8IZHIS@WorldEnterprises.org

Personally I think you would stand more chance of finding the Holy Grail dug up by yer pet dog from the back garden than getting any of these Tit keys.

I'm sure back in the day that guy was doing them, IIRC he no longer does/can get hold of the blanks.

Worth sending a mail anyway.

I remember Courtesy doing them until about 6 months ago. they had a message on their site saying they were no longer available. they just sell the black, red & Nismo ones now. :(

LOL :D

I think you'd be hard pushed to find one bud. ;) Nevermind a suitcase full somewhere.

Really wish I'd bought a couple more when I got my last one for £25!!

Still, it's not tooooooo urgent as I DO have a titanium one for the Black Bullet, but would like a second as spare. :)

There's one on Ebay but it's currently $200 with reserve not met and ships only to the US and the part number IS KEY00-00111, according to the box photographed with it.

I know a Z owner in France who had 10 titanium blanks a while back. He was asking £120 each. I've already got an original one but if anyone's interested in them I can email him.

I have heard people in the US who have bought these keys and the dont fit because they are too thick or something

Stuart

I bought a new titanium key with my Z in 1997 from a UK Nissan main dealer. The part number on the invoice is indeed KEY0000111 and it cost me £57 plus the VAT.
