Hi guys.

This book is now out of print. I have found a place who has the last batch of them and is willing to do a group buy for us (it's not that expensive anyway).

They are all mint copies and the book is meant to be a really good read. Is anyone interested? I'm certainly getting one. The basic price is about 14.50 per book but I can get it much lower for greater quantities.

See ya,

Andy

p.s. I'll be away for Le Mans from Thursday morning so I won't be able to answer any posts until Monday night at the earliest.

Book details:

"NISSAN 300ZX", by Ray Hutton. 'The Enthusiast's Companion'. Published in England in 1990. 112 pages, size 9.8in by 7.4in, laminated board covers. The in-depth story of Japan'n first competitor to the European sports car. Well Illustrated.

Its a good book for those that are tempted - tells a lot about the manufacture and design decisions behind a lot of the Z systems.

It covers all regions also. Nice little book

I've got one and would recommend it to anyone interested in the design/evolution of the Z32. Well written and with some useful facts and data.

Also hate to be a pisser but i paid about 8 quid for mine from the Z shop.

Worth the Xtra cash tho if they are going out of print a must read for any Z fan.

Hi Craig.

I'm having trouble posting to the forum. Could you do me a favour and post

the following for me (as a reply to the thread about the 300ZX book GB):

-----------------------------------------

Found some more pictures of the book from another site. These pictures may

vanish soon so if someone has time to copy them some place else, let me

know and I'll change the links in this post (sorry, too busy at the moment

to do it myself).

I'll close the group buy on Friday 22nd June. Should be enough time for

most people.

Cheers,

Andy

Boyz,

I've got this book. It is an interesting read but not as good as i had hoped.

There is a book called A to ZX by Scott Philbrook , I'd be interested to hear if anyone has a copy and if it and if its any good. Unfortunately it is out of print so not sure how to get a copy.

This guys a zed nut and in the book he covers most topics of interest to Zed enthusiasts such as: Basic Maintenance Tips, Solutions to Common Problems, Detailing Techniques, Power Related Performance Enhancements, Brake System Upgrades, Wheel Upgrades and Technical Backgroud, Explanations of most available after market equipment, Reliability Issues, How to buy Wholesale Parts, Vendor List with Phone Numbers and more...

This is the sort of book I'd be interested in as the other one is a good historical account on the development of the car only. Don't get me wrong worth buying if your into history.

If anyone has a copy of A to ZX whats it like??

Laterz,

I have a copy of A to ZX and it's not much cop. The 'facts' are rather subjective and from memory it's completely US-centric. Don't think you'll find any information that couldn't be obtained from this forum. A lot of common sense stuff, and all available online in greater detail if you know where to look. Was probably great in it's time, but now a bit outdated.
