I'm thinking about replacing or refreshing all the suspension bits and bobs.  So bushings, ball joints etc.  Painting all the arms and legs etc.

wheres best to get the full lot of bushings and ball joints and that?

Good luck with yours.

Did you do the front and rear?  And which did you go for?  Energy suspension?

Personally I would go with Nismo bushes. They are a little harder than stock but avoid the harshness (and prone to squeaking)

that poly bushes can suffer from. They are however more expensive their poly equivalents. You can get them from the states or

from Japan. The attachment gives the part#'s.

Yeah red energy suspension bushes if you lube properly squeaks should not be a problem, i have no squeaks.

I did front and rear , i renewed  lower suspension arms which have ball joint in them. And also renewed rear ball joints on hicas

Made big difference to handling on bends.

Most of the Nismo ones are NLA now in the states the last time i checked.Shame as they were the best choice in my opinion.

Thanks guys.

More of a technical question here, but what needs to, or most probably should be adjustable on a lowered car?

The blue one has a few adjustable arms and things, but they certainly look past there best at a glance.

If your suspension needs changing you might as well change all the bushes, you don’t have to buy everything new can be a tad expensive.

Have to inspect and see what you need.

True, but I'm going to do all the bushings where there are some.

The what is needed scenario is more about whether I really need to have adjustable bits etc.  Like FUCA's when some prefer the shim option and that.

I just renewed bushes using a vice and plenty of the white grease supplied with the red energy bushes which I bought from concept z performance rear cost around £70 posted . Fiddly but not hard.

Nice one.  I'm hoping to take the lot out.  Like subframe and that as well.  Need to think about the HiCas.  The arms look beyond it on the blue car

Hiicas ball joints needed press to get out, if you try in situ aluminium arm could easily break.both of mine were shot so needed to be changed.

Go with NISMO bushes. Avoid ALL rose jointed /MIDORI style suspension links at ALL cost. They're dreadful, I can't emphasise that enough.
