A 1989 300zx with a modern twist. It looks ok and maybe the younger generation prefer it. But in my opinion the 89 spec is still the best design when it comes to looks.

I actually really like the re-design I'm afraid to say, the front lights and ducktail spoiler would make an awesome addition to the classic look. Overall not as sleek and sexy as the classic zed but I think it's a really good design overall.

Yes overall its not bad I'm just stuck in my ways now with the original shape. :)

Apparently it’s a Electric car, because there’s zero ducting to allow air to an engine up front there. Slight ooops.

Not everything is "improved" by a modern makeover.

 

I agree with Gaz 300. Or I did when I had my first TT. Then I preferred the spoiler on the Series 3. Then I realised how neat the unadorned Series 6 was (still didn't much like the '99 spec front end, tho). Now, of course, I have come to the proper conclusion that the drophead with the top down is the purest expression of the Z form :D :D

Externally, I will always find the original lines the most attractive. Don't get me wrong the 99-spec looks great in its own right, but there's something Uber cool about the original exterior. Early spoiler and bumpers. I feel there's almost nothing that can be done to improve on it other than minor tweaks like wheels/suspension, blue glassand rear lights.
