Hi all..

I have arranged a club stand at the 2019 Japanese matsuri at the museum of power in langdon, maldon.

We currently have a 10 car stand booked, entry for displaying vehicles and occupants is free and i am looking for owners who would like to attend and put their car on the stand.

The event venue has wntertainment for families so if you want to bring the family for a day out, there will be things to occupy the kids.

Could really do with some support for this event and stand space will be first come first served.

Should we reach the max number for the stand early enough we have the opportunity to increase stand space, so i would appreciate you guys letting me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend.

Thank you.

Details of the event can be found on the website.

Hi guys, with the japanese matsuri in maldon being a week away, i'd like to get a solid confirmation on numbers attending.

Unfortunately Russ (Veilside) has had some very unfortunate luck with his gearbox so, he wont be able to make it in the Z. However will be coming to see us all at the show with ankle snappers in tow lol.

I am also pretty sure the paul tubero will not make it due to his car still being repaired.

So our list is as follows and if you could just confirm you will be attending, i would be grateful as the final stand arrangements need to be in place by midway through the week.

1. Bedzeeman

2. Malak ali

3. Nemesizx

4. GSC

5. Bones28

6. JoelyP (arriving at 1pm)

7. Paul kennet

8. RichardS

So far we've dropped from 13 original places to the 8 that are showing on the list.

There is a possible 9th but not confirmed as of today.

Also if possible richard, would you be able to bring a banner?

So far i have been unable to find anyone else that has one locally, so it would be great if you could bring one if you have it.

Can everyone on the list please drop me a message here to confirm your attendance so it is easier for me to keep track of..

Thanks guys.

Hi Paul,

Still a yes from me - I'm booking my hotel for Saturday night as we speak...

Sadly I don't have a banner though; but will see who has one available.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Confirming my attendance. I also have some post banners. Made up by a fellow member so wil being them.

unfortunately, i think i will be learning how to weld on mine on sunday, as i dont have many free days to work on it before MOT, with AGM in between now and then.

Good luck Craig...:clover:

But if you do decide to pop along, it would be nice to see you mate:wink:

Chris jones, bob jones and myself will be country laning it all the way from bedfordshire to chelmsford on some lovely country lanes.

Takes a little longer as its a little further distance but there are some great country roads coming across from here.

The A507 through from baldock to standon, A10 for a couple of miles south and then the old A120 through bishops stortford and braintree before heading south a few miles on a B road to the event.

We'll be starting out from here around 7am so hopefully be there for around 9:15am.

Be great to catch up with you all and of course show off my girls new skin..

See you there chaps..

Didnt realise you were over that way joel. I used to come that way regularly to visit my mum over in clacton.

Some great driving roads round that way.

I lived in essex for 25 years and used to go out on my bike over that way, purely for those sweeping winding country roads.. good old memories!

Sorry for the late participation! My 300zx is now on the road, and I live just around the corner. I’m interested in being involved, and I’m going to be going anyway so if you want another car you have one if not I’ll look forward to seeing you there :)

Hi dub.. yes its fine for you to come on the club stand mate, the more the merrier!

All cars need to be onsite by 9:30am latest with the exception of joely who has pre arranged.

I am hoping to be there by 9am.

When you arrive, if you get there before me, just tell the marshalls on the gate that you are with the 300zx owners club and they should direct you to the stand. Just park anywhere for now and we can organise things when everyone is there.

Thanks for coming and look forward to meeting you there!

Have a great day all.

I am pleased to say my Z is back on the road earlier than I expected.

Sorry I can’t make it as I have now arranged to see my new grandson

By the way Gary, you were selected for an award but because you left early, they gave it to a Nissan Juke. He won £500, free entry to the museum for 2 months, a trophy and a bottle of Tesco tyre shine.

A great day, sunshine, friends, lots of cool cars and beer. The cruise down with Paul and Bob was awesome too, lots of heads turning.
