  3. I declared all the Mods on mine and found it to be a lot more. Then again London is high risk area. Good luck om your search. :thumbup1:
  4. Nice, pics, cars look great. Well done guys.
  5. Hey Darren, Back from hols so time to move on with my Z. Just paid my renewal fee so hopefully no issues with using the forum to sell my car. I'll share my contact details with you via a PM and we can have a quick chat to see if the cars for you.
  6. Hi Darren, Welcome to the club. I'll be putting mine up for sale soon once I resubscribe to the club. Its a Red TT UK Manual, wide arch model.Unfortunately I let its MOT run out but you should see an advert on here hopefully in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Regards Nadeem
  7. Stand looks fantastic, you've all done us proud.
  8. Got the pack a few days ago Gaz, many thanks for your support as well. :thumbup1:
  9. Thanks for the confirmation. Looking forward to my first visit to the Ace and hopefully it will be in the 300zx :clover:.
  10. Do we need to register our number plate with anyone to get into the Ace Cafe car park ?
  11. Congratulations, looks a nice car. This was the same one advertised on Ebay ?
  12. Please read "bad purchased" as "had purchased". Time will tell if its a good purchase or not.
  13. Fantastic news. Hoping that'll bring in some new owners and give the car the kudos it deserves. Last review I read was in Modern Classics before I bad purchased my car. Read it again a few weeks ago ago after joining the forum and now know who the featured owner is... our very own JoelP :thumbup1:
  14. Sad to see a before and after pic. Definitely needs a new owner to give it some TLC. Agree with bigh though, would be good to see another wide arch.
  15. Hey JayJay and all, thanks for the welcome. Finally got the car through its MOT but what a painful experience. :cursing: Last time I had to get a car welded was over 25 years ago, though more recent experience with an auto electrician, (dashboard warning lights on a mini cooper s ). The strain on the wallet was to be expected but the hassle of finding reliable people, dropping the car off to them, having to take time off work etc was much more hassle than I expected. On the bright side it was a good way to learn and I know where to go should I need welding, basic servicing and auto electrics in my local area. Hopefully will try to do some stuff myself in the future. For the more serious stuff it will be Jimmer or Lee. Now that I have an MOT, time for me to become a subscriber member. Will also will treat myself to a head unit as the car came without one. I wanted a double din set-up but I'd need £150 straight away for a new double din console. Add £400 for the head unit plus some extra for a rear view camera (sad sod that I am !) and that blows the budget. So a cheapish Pioneer or Kenwood single DIN with Bluetooth and DAB it'll be. :punk:
  16. Good to hear you smashed it Stephen  Hope you don't ache too much tomorrow, but given what you achieved, its worth it.
  17. Seen a 300zx LWB in Blue just round the corner from me parked up in Manor Road, Lee, SE London. The car is on a "K" plate, looks OEM +. Was it you ?
  18. Hi Stephen, just donated. Hope all cylinders are firing in harmony, best of luck on the day for both you and the weather ! :clover::thumbup1: Regards Nadeem
  19. Hoping that my MOT woes will be over by the end of the week. :sweatdrop: in which case I'll be there. Really looking forward to meeting you all and seeing the other Zeds.
  20. Looks like a fantastic trip. Nice Pcis, both Z's look sweet.
  21. Thanks for the warning ! Anyway took the car for its MOT and of course it failed. As the car was purchased 7 weeks before the MOT was due I couldn't get a fresh MOT so asking for trouble I suppose. Previous MOT had advisories and as the car had done very little mileage since, was expecting to have the same advisories so was expecting minimum hassle. Sadly not the case. :thumbdown:Needs both front sills welding, osf ball joint, plus rear foglamp and foglamp dashboard lamp not working. I'm checking to see what the local garages around SE London charge for the pleasure but am also thinking of taking the car to ZEDWORLD to get the above done and if there's any money left in the kitty, then some other work done. Will tell you how I get on.
  22. Car is losing a bit of water even after a short drive. Temp gauge stays in the middle, no sign of overheating, and no glunk on the oil cap. On closer inspection I found the filler neck on the overflow tank was either broken or loose where it connects to the overflow tank. Couldn't easily check the water level in the expansion tank as I now realise the dipstick was broken, only half its original size ! Now have a replacement filler neck and overflow tank so will look to replace the filler neck and if necessary the overflow tank. Hoping that once the whole lot is put together then the water loss will be ok. Can't work out how to get to the overflow, I'm hoping removal of the front wheel and the wheel arch liner will reveal all. But before all that, the car's MOT runs out on the 23rd Sep so about to book it in. Had some advisories last year but has done very little mileage so hoping it will get through.
  23. Thanks Alic, sorry about that. This link below should be better. When you get a chance please confirm it works. Time I paid the yearly subscription so I can embed the photos directly. http://s346.photobucket.com/user/nbaig290/library/?view=recent&page=1
