The 300zx Owners' Club Car of The Year 2018 competition entry thread!!.

Entry is open until the 28th December 2018; after which this thread will be closed and the poll will be posted for everyone to cast their vote!

This is your chance to enter your car into the final competition of 2018 - a trophy and £20 Halfords voucher are up for grabs...…(plus a runner-up trophy)...

Please use this thread to signify your entry into the competition! I'd ideally like five photographs (no more please, but you can post less) plus a short description of your car.

If you have entered COTY or COTM in previous years, you may use extracts from your last entry - providing your car is broadly still the same.....

I am looking for 6 entrants (but will happily accept more) - we have many, many, fine cars in the club; and we have seen some worthy award winners at Coventry this year, so come on..... What are you waiting for - get your entries in now.....!!!

The competition ENTRY is open to SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS ONLY......... including committee & sub-committee...

Voting is open to everyone !

And finally, please keep this thread free for competition entries only; all other posts will be deleted....

Well I thought I’d add my name into the mix this year, so here it is...

This is my modified “94 Uk 300zx. I brought this car a little over a year ago. It had been left for some time without much attention given to it but on the whole was a very strong car.

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time and money bringing this car back up to the level it deserves and most of the work is detailed in my journal, Project UK rewind. The work includes major service on the engine, paint correction, wheels refurbished, new used interior, refurbished rear lights, installing OEM stereo, new boot trims and so on.

A '94 UK spec manual bought in March '98 from Howards Nissan in Weston-super-Mare. The first owner being Nissan UK.

The car is the penultimate RHD car built for the UK market.

The many modifications and enhancements made to the car have always been carried out with the overriding aim of

preserving as much as possible of the original character and identity of one of the best sports cars to come out of Japan.

Here's my tt manual. I bought this as a shell 5 years ago so there's been plenty of work done. The most recent being a full interior (award winning) completed by Mondo, black leather with alcantara centres & silver stitching. Other upgrades include one piece prop, 99 spec inserts, altia door sills, stillen lip, twinz rear diffuser, meister coilovers & lots more that I've forgotten.
