Hi all,

 

We are looking to put together a sub committee that will look after the various sections of the clubs site.

 

Each member will basically cover a particular detail of the club but will have permissions to cover overall the other areas.

 

If you are interested in being apart of this committee then please put your name forward.

 

Below is the general conditions of the putting your name forward or being nominated for a role :

 

1.) The nominee has to be an active user with at least 1 year under their belt.

2.) The nominee must be a premium member (so upgrade your account and put your name forward)

 

So in general here is the areas we need covered :

 

Editorial (covers front page of the website, news letter)

Designer (for making calendars, good at photoshop etc..)

New User Moderation

General Moderation

Events (taking care of the club calendar)

Before others notice point one do we no longer have female zed owners or are they not eligible to apply?

 

Secondly having been a part of the forum for a while and wanting to return to my previous active participation I would like to be considered as a moderator. I do not believe I could add value in the other areas and of course would subscribe as a premium member. I obviously have reservations due to previous activity on here hence I am hesitant.

No active female owners that I know of and of course they would be allowed to apply. We did have a female Committee member a few years ago so no all male preference was ever given.

I looked at the list and

 

Editorial (covers front page of the website, news letter) - Assume a level of IT knowledge is required

Designer (for making calendars, good at photoshop etc..) - Not good with photoshop

Events (taking care of the club calendar) - Spend alot of my time traveling overseas so i would not be suitable

I havnt applied as they they do seem to involve an abilaty to do pretty things with a computer ( and own a computer too)

Although im not great at making things look pretty, I can do certain things with computers. VBA, C++, HTML/HTML5, a little JAVA, learning to code in android etc.

 

I am happy to help out as a "designer" or "coder" or "calendar maker"or "general IT dogsbody".

As long as it to moderate yourself! :lol: I’d offer to help but A I do t have the time and B I don’t think I have any useful skills.

Guys just so your all clear there will be no direct Jobs just doing moderation of threads.

 

The moderation terms come hand in hand with the other roles.

 

If and when the forums get busy enough to warrant full time moderators we will bring them back.

Ah man. That's crap. I loved Trish. Has the club paid whatever is needed now? If not, and the club know what is owed, I'll be seeing her in a couple of weeks and could pass it on?

We have asked her what she needs but no reply. Tell Trish to give us what she spent and we will gladly give it to her and also we need her back Lee so tell her that also mate.

I'll have a chat with her mate. I think from memory that she'd given the receipts to someone, so might just need to go by her word on whatever is owed. I love trish to bits and I'll get her back lol.
