Goodwood is only a short drive from i live and i will be attending japanese sunday in the Z , it will be great to meet follow Z owners and get to know people outside of the forum. finger crossed this year doesn't get cancelled like last year :thumbdown: .

 

I alway attend other breakfast clubs aswell then there on. and now the weather is getting nicer i spend most of my weekends down at goodwood watching whats on track.

Register the car and, if you get selected, you can park the 300 on the track. If you don’t get on the track the public parking is in one of the fields which can be a PITA if it’s been raining. Also these days you need to “apply” for entertaining tickets which they’re getting priority hot on. As Andrew said, just follow the link.

Park it up in one of the car parks by the horse racing and I’ll collect you when I go in. Or park it at mine if you’re coming via the A27 from the west.

“Thank you for your email and enquiry. We've checked with the Motor Circuit who have let us know that, unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to erect any materials by your cars. If you'd like details of attending on a more formal basis, we'll be happy to help further.

 

We need to let you know that you may not automatically be parked together. Marshals will fill the site as quickly and safely as possible and wouldn't be able to reserve empty slots. ​If you arrive together, there is more chance you will be sited together but this is at the discretion of Marshals on the day.”

 

Oh well, it was worth a try.

That's a pity about the banners. For anybody organizing club events you would need to know that we have PLI Insurance for one million. But always check with a committee member first that its not out of date.

In my experience if we all arrive together at the entrance gate then the marshalls will try to keep us together as we are directed around

the track to the parking point they want us to stop at.

 

If we can organise a meeting point near to the circuit and set off together then we have a reasonable chance of displaying as a group.

Sounds good to me Andrew. I would say the best place to meet close to the circuit would be the Sainsbury’s car park which is just off the A27. What time is everyone thinking of getting up there? I’m free from when the gates open at 0630.

No. The gate opens to us to get our cars in from 0630. Then the gates are open to the public from 0700. They allow cars to enter for display until 1000.

 

I’m just saying I’m free from 0630. I’m sure all you guys that haven’t got kids like a lie in on the weekend (lucky *******s :helpsmilie:).

Take it from me it becomes pandemonium from 6:30am onwards. Unless you want to be half way around the

Goodwood circuit (I don't) we need to there 6:30am prompt!

I can be there. I've just woken up all bleary eyed, so don't know what the process is. But I'm game for it.

Mine has developed a smoking issue, it is old enough. I think this will be its last outing for a while... :sad:

I couldn’t get all the jobs done due to time but it’s only the replacement door glass left to do.
