I know it's been asked before but at least it's not an oil thread

Right guys

D Day is coming

Blown engine is out forged engine is going in

The engine is capable of about 550BHP so I'm thinking 500 is sensible.

While its out a new clutch would be a good idea.

The car will be 99% road with the odd speed run any suggestions for a sensible road clutch that I don't need 2 feet to use?

Cheers

RPS max street clutch.

Also what oil would you recommend

Factor 50 - skin cancer is no joke

The answer to this question is very simple. Click your mouse or finger on this link: https://specialtyz.com/shop/300zx/sz-sport-street-for-vg30dett-and-vq35s-239.html

Then click add to basket. Now you need to click this link: https://specialtyz.com/shop/sz-flywheel-vg30de-tt.html >add to basket.

You may be feeling a little light after those 2 clicks but fear not, you’re almost done and it gets easier from here! The next step is to add the contents of this link: https://specialtyz.com/shop/300zx-heavy-duty-clutch-fork-kit.html (don’t forget to add the dust boot!).

Now we can wrap this up with this little beaut: https://specialtyz.com/shop/sz-ss-clutch-line-z32.html

If you're buying the long pipe (i.e from slave directly to master and not to existing hardlines) just buy it from zcentre. It was a little under £30 iirc instead of their 50$ before tax&shipping

Thanks Guys

A little more than I hoped but on balance as a one time purchase the way to go is spend the money now and do it properly

As per Joel's links. RPS Max Street Clutch and RPS Segmented flywheel. I have these along with a braided clutch line, new slave cylinder 350z clutch fork and pivot ball, it feels great; light, easy to use and progressive.

Avoid twin-plate and puck clutches. One rattles to hell and the other is like a light switch in comparison. Both have their merit, however as a fast road car, neither are ideal.
