This and the original (black stitch) are by far and away the best gear knobs. Perfectly weighted, matched with replacement stock or bronze bushings (not a horrible short shifter) and you get a lovely smooth shift.

Match that with a nice 98 spec gear box !

 

Can't wait untill its all fited.

In the interests of continuing innuendo, my knob has been out of action since the kids arrived. It was fairy new and un molested, but has suffered a bit from neglect.

Wrong thread :oops: and I have now inadvertently started this off again:lol:

As it happens I found a helpline in a local phone box and told them that I have a dilapidated piece of Leather in dire need of renovation.

It just so happens that they have a specialist and she will soon polish it up and have it looking like new in no time.
