You got the wrong series climate ecu. you need the blue one.

Here is a set up I sold in 2010 from a UK breaker and the label on the ecu is green, came from a series ll zed, the colour of the label changes between series ll UK spec and series ll Jap import.

Another thread of mine from 2010 details a method of getting warm air from the centre vents without changing the units >>

Nissan has to be confusing don't they

So what you're saying Jeff is UK zeds had the sII with green sticker, but jap is a blue sticker. while the series 1 jap is green.

Just got one.

Where do you pull out these parts from. I was previously looking for one for about 6months :(

Yes the numbers are different between import and UK as well some confusing label colours, there is also red and yellow as well as dark blue and light blue all depending on spec of the ecu.

Having only owned many s1 jap cars all with green stickered ecus. I was very confused when I see people advising that green is sII, which as far as i could tell it clearly wasnt.

Not sure if it came off a UK Zed but I'll find out. I'll keep the blue one anyway & look out for another series 2 pod as I can fit it on the swb.

Is there a way to tell if the green one I've got is series one or two JAP or from a UK model?

If the green one I've got works then I'll sell you the blue one for what I paid.

According to what Jeff said the green UK will be have different numbers from a green Jap.

Think it could be a UK model. Belts were not on the doors but someone could've swapped the ecu out previously.

That part# 27512-41P11 matches the part for a UK spec (11/93 build) item 35:

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

So should be directional if its from a UK Zed?

Just to not confuse things Tom the none turbo zed was not a UK option:wink:

I was just about to change the heater ecu to a series 2 but the sticker on my current one looks blue to me. I don't know if it's just the light but can someone confirm this for me? It would save me a lot of hassle having to swap if it is series 2 already.

Is it UK or Japanese this one?

Series 1 JDM are green and S2 JDM is blue. UK S2 is green.

It's a series one jap car but the previous owner could've changed it for a series 2 already. Hard to tell as I'm on my back with a torch trying to swap it out.

It's not original to a S1 Jap if that helps...

I know, just thought someone could confirm the part number to make sure before I start putting the dash in.

I think it's a series one so will have to swap it. Anyone changed it out before? How easy is it?

We really need to compile a list for which code is which variant car.

So I've got a spare 41P02 here which is a JDM 1990 NA.

Green sticker series 1

Yours is blue and 41P11, but not sure of S1 or 2.

They don't make things easy, looks like a right pain to remove as well, can't get the the bolts.
