For those of a certain age (look away Alic) what you could get from Halfords in 1965. I was only 5 years old but the memories are flooding back.

Lots of universal tat, but somehow more appealing that the shite that's sold under the Ripspeed brand. :lol:

 

I remember when people used to put Ripspeed stickers on their cars thinking it was cool. Bit like sticking Alba or Matsui stickers all over it! :lol:

I remember my mum having the Krooklok in her 1971 mini clubman estate......she still has the car and i reckon the krooklok is most likely still in it.

 

Universal tat it may have been but its stood the test of time. Halfords has got me out of trouble on a sunday afternoon more than once.

Amen to that, Many a time ive needed something to get me home and Halfords have stocked it. Admittedly I have to re-mortgage, but its there on the shelf in a time of need
