Ok! Your reading the scribes of a complete Facebook novice...I set up a page earlier this year for my Valeting business, although couldn't give it it's own page but had to run it through my own identity.

I don't go on it or follow it very often (neither does anyone else it seems!) as notifications are from Facebook only, however as I know there is a good gathering of 300zx owners on there, could any of you recommend a couple of groups you participate in and how I can follow them. I have tried to navigate the site but frankly i think it's Cr@p!

I've seen a couple of names I know on the market place so I must be in the right area...so any help for a Facebook dummy would be appreciated.:thumbup1:

I like 'nismo 300zx z32 uk'

That page is probably the worst 300zx one I've ever come across.

The trouble with most 300zx groups on Facebook is that they're full of incorrect information, nobs and ricemobiles.

Even the one I use mostly which is Nissan 300zx drivers. Lots of BS and poor information. ProjectZ32 is pretty good too, but honestly, for quality searchable information, the Facebook Z32 pages are probably the worst.

I personally generally stay on a number of them purely as a social thing (obviously) to keep abreast with events and gatherings in the US and many friends and contacts over there.

Why couldn't you make a page for the business itself, Steve? I know you have to have a personal page before you can make one for a business or anything like that, but you should be able to make one now.

I have two on there; one for the business and one for my music.

I only really use 300zx UK marketplace and nismo 300zx, like funkysi said for the social aspect.

It has a broader following of people, but it's your choice if it's full of ****s and ricers or not.

These are the pages that I linger around:

That's because you're a social whore :P

Thanks Fellas for the heads up, it seems they are mostly american clubs, which is not surprising!

I don't embrace social media, not because i'm a bit old school (pick up the phone, meet up with a mate etc.) but i don't particularly get a kick from reading and watching everything some people do every moment of their lives (wannabe celeb and be noticed syndrome) but I do get the practical benefits of accessing like minded people who discuss the subject not the lives.

I've had a couple of OK's from Club admins to access their Facebook pages so i'll have a mooch and see where it takes me.

By the way is it just me or does Facebook have one of the worst GUI's on line?....

I do have a business page @bow2bumper, I just didn't want to set up a personal one as I wasn't interested in Facebook. I don't know how large companies set up their FB page, surely the office junior at Halfords doesn't make a private page in order that the business can have one?

By the way, I would welcome any feedback to help me with the Business page, I am not updating it much at the moment as I don't know how you get followers other than family/friends, but I have plenty of pics and info to put up sine the last post.

Cheers, Steve
