Hello all, long time no see.

Was having a clear out and found some brand new never used intake hard pipes with blue silicone.

These are the good expensive ones (£220 if memory serves me right?) not the cheap eBay rubbish.

They are missing the clamps though so you'd need to get some to fit.

They are free to whoever wants them (all I want is the shipping covered).

All you have to do is show me a pic of your engine bay and I'll decide who gets them based on your lack of bling sob story.

I'd say il take them but I can't provide you with a bling problem story, just aggrovation at the silinone ones flexing.

Haha, this could be a fun thread! Good to see you still around matey, although it's not a good sign that you're clearing out Z goodies and not keeping them safe for the future investment [emoji6]

Stephen, that was a poor effort at a sob story, try again! Don't forget the picture...

That's the problem Joel, I haven't got a sob story to share so I spose I can't enter

Blue and black is my colour theme though...

Here's my attempt at a V12 conversion...

bought some bling for the engine last year only to find that the plenum wasn't compatible so I had to get rid of it :( back to the barebones basic for now...

Oh that is a kick in teeth! Why? Early spec?

I can see what has happened there, the later series plenums are a bit thin on the ground, that's what i did though, get a spare first and worked on that .

My engine bay looks so sad

Yeah early spec plenum and didn't realise the ports are slightly different grrrr

They do bolt up btw.

Wow... knife in the wound...

It still wouldn't of been right tbf. I had an early upper bolted to later lower, bodge job by a third party. In fact it had an early fuel rail as well. I wouldn't recommend it but yeah it would bolt up (I doubt you'd notice, driving wise).

i might not be able to get a picture in time for the closing date, but in a similar position to Stephen, would replace the silicone ones that are already installed.

also, don't have a sob story, but could start a similar thread with the ones i replace once swapped, which are perfectly fine.

a bit of charity regurgitation  aka hand me downs
